One of the best albums I own.......2004-10-04

Hossein Alizadeh is simply one of the most exciting Iranian musicians there is. The emotional depth and intensity of this performance is jaw dropping. At times, the music is subtle, gentle and barely above a whisper. At others, he is playing the thing so hard you think it's going to snap it two. While I admit to not knowing the finer nuances of Persian music, I have an excellent ear for music in general and can tell you that this guy knows what he's doing. M.R. Shajarian wouldn't tour with him otherwise! Truly a mind melting album.
