Through this music, a bit more peace will spread through the world.

Product Description
Heard on National Public Radio, this exquisite chamber chamber ensemble, BREATHING ROOM, has poured their passion for chanting and breadth of musical experience into their debut CD, "Namo Namah." The result is a soul-piercing journey into the sublime, and a fresh new sound in yoga music.

"Namo Namah" is an astounding blend of Western virtuoso instrumentation (double bass, classical guitar, tabla, and hammered dulcimer), exquisite 3-part vocal harmonies and traditional Indian chant. Dulcimerist Tina Bergmann was named "THE BEST DULCIMER PLAYER I HAVE HEARD IN MY LIFE" by the legendary folk musician, Pete Seeger.

"Namo Namah" is perfect for long car rides, devotional practice, or as background music at art galleries, yoga studios, or gatherings at home. Recorded in a concert hall, what you hear is pure, intimate and transcendent.

~~~FROM THE ARTISTS~~~
"We created this music for those who have attended Kirtan with us and asked for an acoustic alternative to what is currently available in the yoga/chanting genre. For the continued embrace and in the spirit of devotion, musicianship and healing, we are ever grateful."
This CD is stunningly beautiful. The music immediately penetrates into your heart.
Usually, it's the chanting that predominates in CDs of this genre, but here, they've managed to blend the music with the voices into something truly transporting.
As inexplicable as it is to me, this chanting reaches into my soul, where it soothes, energizes, and vibrates in resonance with what feels like my true spirit.
I know this sounds like ridiculously boundless praise, but I think this is a profound experience.
(Note: I listen to this on an iPod, which immediately makes it more of a totally immersing mind-body connection.)
Rarely have I encountered a sound so pure and grounded in the yogic tradition yet still so beautifully palpable to the Western ear. http://www.zajko.com is their website where you will find more details and photos of the group.
