Brilliant Neo-Celtic Album!.......2005-05-30

The best album of Celtic music I have ever run across. And they are incredible live as well! Blends something from modern rockmetal, traditional Celtic sounds and songs, and some interesting twists on classic Celt instruments. Absolutely brilliant!

Celtic Tornado Blows Into Town.......2003-09-15

This is Celtic rock but different & much more progressive (there's that word!) than something 7N (how I love 'em!) or Glengarry Bhoys would crank out. Numbers like "Al Labous Marv," "Paddy's Lament" & "Desert Of Soul" speak of a talent that is steeped in Celtic tradition, to be sure, but augmented beautifully by the colour of TORNAOD's own French background & a rock sensibility brought forth by electric guitar, bass & drums. It all comes to a head on the massive "Tir Na Nog," a nearly 12 minute epic that blows me away every time I hear it. This is the kind of stuf that sets new standards for a growing field.
