About the Artist
Raihan- made up of Azarie Ahmad, Nazrey Johani, Abu Bakar Md Yatim, Che Amran Idris and Amran Ibrahim took Malaysia by storm back in 1997 with the release of their debut album, Puji-Pujian. Their inspirational songs quickly replaced the Western-style pop music at the top of the charts in Malaysia. They quickly went on to achieve international acclaim later teaming with the world famous Yusuf Islam on their second album.

Raihan's Syukur is truly a work of excellence. The Malaysian group performs the most beautiful Islamic devotional songs I've ever heard. I would recommend this album to Muslims and non-Muslims alike for an experience that is truly spiritually uplifting.

Review of 2 songs on this album........2002-01-17

I have only listened to 2 songs on this album: Seal of the Prophets and God is the Light. Both songs are really nice. I think God is the Light is especially beautiful and so are the lyrics, it is touching and I wouldn't mind having this CD even if it were only for this one song.
