Dave Milgram, singer, songwriter, guitar and harmonica player lives with his wife and two sons in the ponderosa pines around Flagstaff, AZ. Born in Brooklyn, NY David felt the call of the wilderness. He was naturally drawn to live in the Northpole of the southwest after graduating from Ricker Colloege in northern Maine and from Chiropractic school in the Twin Cities.
Dave Milgram, also known as Dr. Milgram, has been a Holistic Practioner in the Four Corners area for over 20 years. He also works on the Indian reservations donating his time and skills.Dave is a life long student of the miracle healing known as Homeostasis. He believes in the eclectic approach utilizing adjustments, nutrition, meridian therapy, and energy balancing to restore health and body mind healing. Dave's other interests are hiking, Native American sweat singing, and understanding migration patterns of ancient people and how they relate to cultural and linguistic connections between people across continents. Dave's music is a reflection of the people and things he loves in life. You will find a host of images in his songs that will stay with you for a long time.

Dave Milgram has been writing songs since he was 13 years old. He was greatly inspired by his late great uncle Jim Friedman who wrote over 150 Broadway type show tunes. He inherited his uncle''s songs along with Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and John Kandor (Cabaret), who hope to put together a Broadway show of Jim Friedman songs in the future. Jim wrote songs with Shel Silverstein, two of which are on Judy Collins #3. He was also Steve Stills manager in Greenwich Village in the early 60s.
Jim Friedman wrote the lyrics to tracks 2, 9, and 11.
The Dave Milgram Band features Dave Milgram singing and playing acoustic guitar on all songs with some harmonic accompaniment. -Lawrence Wood on Accordion. He also wrote the music for Tyger/Tyger and sings lead on that song.
-Tim Jessup plays various electric guitars, keyboards, and arrangements.
-Richard Hardy, of the early Dave Matthews Band, on Clarinet, Saxophone, Flutes, and Pennywhistles.
