What a disappointment. This album is a collection of mediocre covers of the real Neue Deutsche Welle songs that I was hoping to find. I guess that trying to replace vinyl and cassettes is a fruitless task! Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for!

Review of "Neue Deutsche Welle".......2005-11-14

Fler is one of Germany's most famous rappers. There are some great beats on this album, such as "Schwererziehbar 2005" and "NDW 2005," but Fler isn't the greatest rapper lyrically. Most of his songs are about being a difficult child, women, drugs, etc. I'd recommend this CD to anyone who enjoys German hip hop. His lyrics and beats are typical for Aggro Berlin.

Deutsche WELLE.......2003-07-06

I was disappointed. I assumed it was by the original artist...well, it was not.
To me, it makes a big difference. They just don't sound the same.

Just listen to the songs.......2002-07-31

This isn't bad, especially for the price. If you want to learn a little bit about the German New Wave sound of the early 80's, this is a good sampler. However, these are cover versions not the originals. That's why I gave it three-stars. But the reproductions are pretty close to the originals.

Volume 4 of the Best hits of the Best German Pop band (in my opinion).Featuring some of the best songs ever performed by NDW, such as; Der Kommisar,Traumboy, Feuerwehr, and many more . This CD represents 80's pop at its best, not only is it fast paced but also keeps you moving. I recommend the CD as "a must have" for any music collector.
