GREAT ALBUM BY THE DOC, BUT EXPLICIT.......2003-09-18

This cd is not much rap, but a lot more hip-hop. A lot of good beats and flow to it. But this album is quite explicit and offensive. His lyrics and his respect towards women, it's quite obvious here. The best song on this album is the first one, "Viens voir le docteur", and another great one is "Les Filles du Moove". If you want more intelligent hip-hop/rap, try IAM, they are the best in France.

Ok this is more hip hop than rap. The best songs that u have to ckeck out are 1 viens voir le docteur, (my favourite)3 nirvana, 5 ne ici, 10 no se vende la calle. But all the songs rule.

This just blew me away!!!!!!!!! I am on my year out from university in France and didnt realise till now how good french rap is!!!! Buy it or regret it!!!

Despite some other listeners somewhat condescending views towards French rap, I implore you to please give it a chance, especially if you have any interest in the French langugage. I find French Rap to be thousands of times better then American rap. The Rap flows and the ryhmes are smooth. Even if you don't like Rap in general, try French Rap, its far better. Another thing I really enjoy about French Rap is that many of the songs, if you understand the French (which you will if you listen to them enough), are actually coherent and meaningful narratives...Doc Gyeneco's album grooves, and is simply addictive. His voice is unique in the field of Rap. I LOVE IT.
