Buy this CD and you will be very rewarded for listening to a master muscian. Track #5 alone is worth the price of the CD. The rest of the CD is beautiful music from old Brazil. Perfect to listen to during dinner or some quiet moment and even better if you want to improve your guitar skills. The man has technique and puts a lot of sensitivity to the music he plays. I've only enjoyed one other latin guitarist as much, Enrique Coria, who deserves to be well known like Marco in the music world.

This is a wonderful cd. The repertoire has been carefully selected among the most beautiful Brazilian waltzes. But what really impresses is the virtuosity and musical expression of Marco Pereira. His hands are blessed with technique, sentiment and enormous personality.

Had the pleasure of listening to the riveting Mr. Pereira play last night at Fairfield University. Luiza was among the songs he performed. Playing in the company of the formidable Ralph Towner, Martin Taylor, & Brian Gore, Mr. Pereira stood out. We were unable to obtain his CD, but this one is on my short list....
