I bought this C.D. when it first came out. Coming from a family that is of carribean descent and hearing gospel played with such skill was remakable. This C.D. is a must have for all steel pan players and listeners.

Good addition to my music collection. Best enjoyed when you're familiar with the hymns. Great variations. Recording quality could be improved a bit.

The Calvary Steel Orchestra presents a wonderful group of praise songs in a unique way - using the Steel Pan orchestra. I've just recently ordered a small set of such drums (drums being in this case very descriptive), because I love this Caribbean sound so much. My only disappointment is that the sound quality is not the greatest. Overall, the music is inspirational, and the sound is contagious.
