4 out of 5 stars Excellent music, but a bit too short........2005-07-19

I was at a con this weekend, saw this in the dealer's room, and just about died of happiness. The song selection is absolutely perfect for me, with no bombs like too many of my CDs. The DVD is decent so far, and I was extremely pleased to find that it was all regions. My only gripe and the thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that it is too short. Usually I like my cds to have a good hour or so of music, but this doesn't. Still very, very worth it.

The DVD contains the full-length 30-minute version of the "Verte Aile / Bel Air" movie which includes the promo clip to their first major-label single "Verte Aile / Bel Air," originally released on VHS on July 19, 1997. This is a dialogless film starring the band, inspired by their song, shot entirely on location in France. The film's ending makes up the "Verte Aile / Bel Air" promo clip. 5 out of 5 stars CD is awesome yet repetitive, DVD alone is worth the purchase........2006-01-11

Well, as usual I am never dissapointed with MM. I mean, why would I? The music is always perfect, and it is my favourite band. My only complaint on this cd is that it's a bit repetitive, that meaning if you already have the "Merveilles" (as I do). If not, go ahead and buy it, because even though there are some tracks that are repeated (Au Revoir, Gekka no Yasoukyoku), the other versions of the songs (Bossa, de l'image), are as great as the original. Also something cool is that it includes the songs "Color Me Blood Red" and "N.p.s N.g.s" (which aren't in the Merveilles, so I was really happy about that).

Now you may think that after all this talk the cd is a real treat, but no, you won't think that after you see the DVD. I think ¡just the DVD alone is worth the purchase, because IT IS that great. Watching all the guys made me drool (as usual), and as soon as I saw Kami (RIP), I inmediatly started crying. Ah Kami.... The movie is quite well executed, and as always in all MM movies you don't hear any words (except two or three and the ones of the video), so it is pure MM.

Meaning that you won't be dissapointed.
