Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars good looks and hot vocals.......2006-06-13

well she is not Barbara S, but she is the perfect POP package: hotter than any current POP star, a sexy voice, and some catchy tunes.

3 out of 5 stars Not a work of art but..........2004-05-28

If it were for looks she would have scored 5 stars! The ex model, beauty pageant and now turning actress/singer almost impresses the Arab world with this offering. The album is not amazing, nor is it a work of art but a pleasant piece of work. Haifa does not have a powerful voice and on several occasions in this CD she's not really singing and her voice even sounds uncordinated. Nonetheless, professional studio mixing and production cleans up Haifa's blemishes. If you're looking for Arabic trance/dance/techno or wondered if it ever existed then here it is! Nonetheless, even though the album maintains a western influence it still maintains an oriental zest. The best tracks are: Agoul Ahwak, Ma Sar, Kalouli Annou, Huwa el Zaman and Salim Halek. And just for the hell of it please note that Badi ou ma Badi's introduction is taken from ex-All Saint, Melanie Blatt's 24/7.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful!.......2004-02-08

This C.D. is so good that I bought 2 of them(one I gave to my friend). Haifa has the best voice(despite what others say) and her looks are just gorgeous. I am looking forward to her next C.D. coming out next month.

4 out of 5 stars Light-Weight Arabic Pop/Dance.......2003-11-16

If you're looking for a powerful voice, meaningful lyrics, and epic tunes, then this is not the CD for you. Haifa, in her first foray into the world of music (she's a model--one of the most GORGEOUS women in the Arab world. Thank you, Lebanon!) seems like she did it for the heck of it. "I feel like releasing an album.." BAM! It's done.
This is by no means comparable to the works of other, established artists, like Amr Diab, Nawal El-Zoughbi, Samira Saeed, etc...But, in my books at least, it rivals them! This is light, Arabic pop at its best--Arabia meets Nightclub. All the songs are excellent dance tracks. That's it. Incredible beats, nice music. It sounds unmistakably Arabic, but with a dose of energetic, get-up-and-shake-your-booty dance.
If you're gonna buy this album for anything, buy it for the song "Alooly Anno". This is possibly the most incredible Arabic song I've heard all year--possibly the last couple of years! Brilliant instrumentals that ooze Arabian-ness, an UNBELIEVABLE beat, and Haifa's light, breathey vocals (she doesn't actually SING...more like..tuneful talking) come together to make up a mind-blowing song that you'll want to play again and again and again...
So, if you want a nice tune, dancey beat, then this CD is for you.

1 out of 5 stars Model turns TV Presenter turns Singer.......2003-11-07

This is absolutely one of the most untalented persons worldwide. Haifa is apparently a babe, nonetheless, that's all she is. There is definitely no reason whatsoever to buy this CD or even listen to her songs on the radio.
