Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Simply the most beautiful song I ever heard........2004-07-02

Backpacking through France, 10km south of Paris, I stumbled tired and thirsty into a service station. There was a large rest room with many seats, I lay on one and dozed. I was gently awoken by a song, emitted from a radio above, a type of music I had never heard before. It was "Qui me donnera des ailes" and it had hit a top spot in the French charts that year.
I thought I had entered into heaven listening to this orchestrated work of art. Moos has a voice of an angel. The whole album is good but this song is by far the best ever!

5 out of 5 stars Don't understand most of it, but it is full of funk!!.......2000-12-05

I heard one of their songs online and I thought it was simply chic! I dont' remember much french, I only had 2 years ago, but I am still able to get the gist of every song. They are funky, spunky, jazzy and all that!! There is a fun fusion here of rhythms, and the singer's voice is silky, romantic, and during some songs almost a member of n'sync! With a mix of jazz, r&B, pop and more, u'll love this cd!! it is really neat!! You must order it from Amazon, I couldn't find it anywhere else!!

5 out of 5 stars French Soul.......2000-01-15

I saw a video of Moos on French television during the week of the millenium celebrations in Monte Carlo. I haven't heard any French popular music for years, but I remember it as being very stuck in the 70's. Moos was a terrific wake-up to the new face of Europe. French soul is the best short description I can give it, with the seductiveness of Sade, beautiful orchestration, and an irresistable rhythm. I have played the CD in my car to several people from ages 16 to 60 and they all said, "where can I get a copy of that"? What better recommendation!

5 out of 5 stars #1.......1999-12-16

While traveling through France this summer I ran across this Cd. I didn't buy it and I am kicking myself for it now. If you like European music you will Love this Cd. It is the most beautiful music, and is a perfect illustation of the Eurpeon experience.

4 out of 5 stars Très bon album d'un petit nouveau !.......1999-07-22
