Fantastic Album & Terrific Follow-up to "China".......2003-06-06

This is an excellent album. "Etre La-Bas" is mesmerizing. A truly fantastic follow up to her self-titled debut album. China is definitely a rare talent, able to merge songwriting in French and English as well as music genres. She's above the norm and definitely worth a listen. This album insured that I am a fan!

Second album from China, the best french soul artist and daughter of Dee Dee Bridgewater. "On Tourne En Rond" is as good as her first album ("China") and demonstrates one more time how talented she is. "Être la-bas", the first single from the album is brilliant, "Gabriel" is a sweet and touching declaration of love. "Y'a pas moyen", my personal favorite is a funky and jazzy song with great lyrics. If you wanna listen to real good french (and also english) music, China is there for you.

This CD has a nice, sweet, soulful sound. Very relaxing. I also like the tracks with French lyrics -- very cool.
