THE MOUSE KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER !!!.......2003-03-05
mouse has progressed !!!buy this one, and catch him live at any cost! seriously.
Mouse moves a bit farther from his roots, but sounds great.......2001-12-31
That is not to say he is doing anything wrong. He will never be able to completely hide his unique voice and I'm sure he would never do that.
This release has a few very solid tracks to include Rude Boy Jamaican, Mouse in the House and a very hardcore and solid dancehall track Crack Cocaine and Marijuana. A couple songs I could do without are Don't Treat Her Bad (from Black Cowboy), the boring Detoxify, and the bit less boring Keep a Good Mouse Down. Prop 215 can go either way; you will love or hate it. I love it. It reminds me of a typical swing song (I hope that's the genre of which I am thinking). It is a fun song nevertheless.
Overall it is a decent release with the 3 songs I mentioned carrying it far. Oh almost forgot Sensi Party (Four 20 Band Featuring Eek A Mouse).Like it reads...it is only partially eek a mouse, but the 420 Band do a nice job of recreating Eeks Sensi Party. Sounds a bit like the Long Beach Dub Allstars. Also I think this is the only song where the biddy beng beng comes out.
Might want to pick this one up soon before it suffers the same fate that Black Cowboy suffered and goes out of print. And don't forget to keep listening for the nice little A Capella at the end of the disc. Very cool and very Eek a mouse.
