One the finest musics from the Middle Ages.......2002-06-02
Al-kindi plays beautifully and the whole is even better than "The Aleppian Music Room" in which the "Tarab" was strangely lacking.
"The Crusades Seen Through The Eyes Of The Orient" comes also with a great booklet providing an introduction to an alternative perspective on the Crusades. The "muwashshahat" included in this recording are among the most famous ones. It is nevertheless disapointing not to have included the lyrics in Arabic.
