I love to turn up my Marston Smith early in the morning for pure insiration when I begin a new watercolor painting...it is so moving, even awe-inspiring...creativity can't help but flow!

MARSTON RULES.......2004-08-14

I first saw Marston play at a street festival in Palm Springs, CA. I could not stop watching his show. As a result I purchased this CD. It is not as edgy as his live performance--but quite frankly some three weeks after buying the CD I still play it nonstop. The music is haunting but at the same time calming. If you like string music but with a new age twist then Marston is the ticket. My only criticism is that the CD does not convey the over-the-top aspect of his live performances.

I have seen Marston Smith in person and he is great. His music really moves me and can't believe that someone would vote 1 star twice. Out of 5 stars I give him 6!

amazingly wonderful.......2001-09-17

i saw marston at the L.A Co. fair and was mesmerized by him. the energy and passion within him seemingly bursts thru in his strings, its glorious music. i bought the c.d at the fair and ordered another online for a family member. the title fits the music as it does put you into a joyful trance. i would say the bittersweet symphony is my most favorite piece from the cd but its all great stuff. go buy it and you'll love it!
