Simply the most achingly beautiful performance of music I have ever heard. These serene rags, as rendered by Sachdev, are as pure an embodiment of life's longing for its own heart as you are ever likely to hear. Sachdev is at one with his instrument, and the result is beauty almost unmediated. Is it possible for a human to play an instrument better than he plays the bansuri?

Excellent backdrop ffor meditation.......2005-08-30

I searched long and hard for flute music not contaminated with distracting complexity. This music is honest and true. I listen to this CD every day and still often find myself admiring its aplomb.

This is a CD that I listen to over and over. Native American, middle eastern and celtic sounds are just a few of the many wonderful flavors that you will taste here. I highly recommend this CD for a thoughtful listen!
