It's a good album with some fun songs. You can't ask for much more than "Caminando" to make you want to move!

Almost unknown to the rest of the world, Anna Oxa has been one of the most important and influential singers of the Italian pop scene... She posseses not only an extraordinary voice but also an overwhelming charisma on stage. "Senza Pietà" (No mercy) was the winner song of the legendary San Remo Festival in 1999, but back then she was already a big star in Italy. "Verrai" (You will come) and "Sweet love" are the other two songs that set this album apart from all that she recorded previously. Simply one of the greatest Italian divas...

I initially bought this for the duet between Ana and Chayanne, but was blown away by the rest of it. Her voice is fantastic! Even though I don't understand Spanish, I still thoroughly enjoy her work.

Anna Oxa is a little bit Cher, a little bit Madonna, a little bit Shakira, a little bit Tori Amos all rolled up into one person. In Senza Pieta, Anna clearly demonstrated her vocal capabilities and artist talent. The duet with Chayanne is out-of-this-world, but my favorite track is the title song, Senza Pieta.

Regarless if you speak or understand Italian or not, the music transcends all artificial barriers and speaks to your soul (so much so that I am confident you will love Anna as much as I do). Highly highly recommended.

Honestly, I bought this cd to hear the duet with Chayanne. While the duet is incredible, so is the rest of the cd. Anna Oxa has a wonderful voice and I enjoy the entire collection of songs. Each one is worth listening to and enjoying

Anna Oxa is one of the best singers of Italy. She started her career back in 1978 and sience then she had released successful albums and big hits in Italy. She is also a two time winner of San Remo Festival.
After the success of her 1999 release "Senza pieta" she returned with this album that has 10 songs. One of the songs is in English (Take a little trip)(she has a perfect English) and another song is an old hit of her's (Un'emmozioni da poco) that Anna re-recorded for this cd.
Anna has a beautiful strong voice. Her style is soft pop and her voice and style make a wonderful mix.
If you know her and have another album of hers you must have this tittle and of corse her big hit album "Senza pieta".
I'm going to translate the songs in English in case if you don't speak italian.
1-L'immenso e il sou contrario. (The immense and its contrary)
2-Uomo dove sei. (Man where are you)
3-Controvento. (Against the wind)
4-Sister.
5-L'eterno movimento. (The endless moment)
6-Take a little trip.
7-Notte d'immagini. (Night of images)

9-La vita dove va. (Where does life goes)
10-Un'emozioni da poco. (An emotion little by little)
P.S I wonder why Anna doesn't make the crossover and releases an album internationally because she has the voice, the style, the talent and the record company to do it. I hope that she do this kind of work someday.

Very unique singer. If you enjoy Italian pop and opera you may develop an appreciation for ANA OXA. Of course, she's not limited to those styles, she can do much better than that.

This is one of her older cd's, but it's still Ana Oxa. Perhaps the music no longer matches the current trends, but her fans will love this cd as well.
