Tight work.......2003-01-04

this cd at the time it was released was a much needed cd in brasil. these two like it or not helped strain the public eyes away from tha more violent forms of hip-hop in brasil. they kept their hip-hop fun for everyone and still managed to sell records. of course i don't expect other brasilians who have lived in tha us most of their lives to understand that. and others who try and knock their style of music thats just even worse being that beats may not be on tha level of a timberland or neptunes, but what have most people been askin for?, musicians who can make it without a tight beat behind them. not knockin timberland or tha neptunes being that most of tha time you them to put thier magic touch on a song. so hopefully this cd can be veiwed by others in a more positive way.

It's true, this CD is awful, but honestly, its so ridiculously catchy and fun this is a must have for any true fan of brazilian funk/hip hop!!!Even with all of their nonsensical lyrics and off-key singing they manage to put out a GREAT party CD with every song a winner. I have had this CD since '96 and I still isten to it once or twice a week. This is the definition of "feel good music". Say what you want about their lyrical content, or their musical ineptitude, but this is just plain great stuff. Like they say, its "funk doido" so just sit back and let them do their thing, oh yeah, and don't hate on these innovators of hip/hop funk, Like you haven't done the danca do kanguru....

This music is terrible. I have to agree with the music fan from Brazil, musicians who need support from celebrities are not worth listening to. I was also quite surprised to see that the CD made it to US stores, I never realized there were so many deaf and mentally challenged Brazilians living here to cause a demand. Avoid it like the plague.

You can't beat this album if you just wanna get down! This melodic (yet out of tune) Hot (but goes down smooth after 6 or 8 caipirinhas) album is king o' the hill baby!
