Sometimes, we are afraid to listen to the first album of an artist because we do not know what to expect. I know that I was unsure of what to expect. However, this debut album provides excellent arrangements to accompany her voice and give an ablum which is a great listen from the start. Musically, it may not be quite as strong as her later material, but that could be due to the fact that she has matured as a performer since this album. My favorite tracks are 'un peu d'innocence' and 'tu n'as pas besoin'.

If I were able to rate this album with a little more precision, I would only give it 4.5 stars. My issue? The production of this album is a little weak in places, especially when compared with her later releases. Nevertheless, it is still an outstanding album.
