katerine sings lounge-jazz.......2000-10-02

this is an interesting two cd set. on the first cd, les creatres, katerine writes a set of very witty, very jazz influenced pieces about every silly thing you can think of. new to this album (as compared to mes mauvaises...) is many a track that finds katerine speaking over jazz backgrounds. i found that the standout on the cd was 'je vous emmerde', which is especially funny if you speak french. the second cd is another affair. it is simply katerine and acoustic guitar. while i missed the lavish lounge music of the last cd, this cd is more complex and mature, and after a few listens, just as good as the last.
