Absolutely Entrancing!.......2003-09-03

I had the incredible pleasure of hearing Djilia Phralengo at the 2003 Michigan Renaissance Festival. From the very first notes that crossed my ear, I was entranced. This music is an amazing artistic creation fusing several different sounds into what is at the base Flamenco music. I know that every time I put the CD into the player, it becomes very difficult to merely sit and listen. The music delves right into your core, and makes your feet itch to dance. Anyone who wishes to hear some fantastic music, get this album! Or, if you read this early enough, come see them at the Michigan Renaissance Festival!

What a wonderful CD.......2003-08-26

Djilia Phralengo (Songs of the Brothers) is a wonderful CD. The stringed instruments blend together in a flawless and magicical explosion of hand clapping gaity that both sooths and excites. I saw this group at the 2003 Michigan Renaissance Festival and they were extremely impressive. Their CD does not dissapoint in any way! 2 more members are slated to join the group and that will add mandolin and another guitar, as if this group wasn't strong enough. WOW!
I love Celtic music as well as guitar. You guys are a success in my book!
