I am from Panama. This CD contains a large variety of Folkloric Music of my country. It portays the native music of Panama as it is supposed to be. It is the music of the people...Panama's mestizos. The performers, who are obviously natives of Panama, do an excellent job. One can notice the African, Spanish and other influences, since Panama has been the Bridge of the World since colonial times. Joy, lament, love and other moods are well represented here. I have lived in the USA for 30 years and this CD brings me close to my native land. I love it.
