It doesn't happen much, but there are times when the departure of a group's most prominent player inspires the rest of the act to get seriously bizzy. Strength & Love, a tight disc that skitters from track to shiny track with imagination and a renewed sense of rap's widened boundaries, makes Bone Thugs-N-Harmony a prime example. Without Bizzy Bone to layer a drizzle of Midwestern vocal weirdness over their sound, Layzie, Krayzie, and Wish Bone call in a crew of hard-hitting helpers: Akon delivers twice, first on the melting "I Tried" and again on the weepy "Never Forget Me," Mariah Carey flits through "Lil Love" alongside Bow Wow, and Twista and Yolanda Adams also make reputation-enhancing appearances (Twista by barreling through "C-Town" at breakneck speed and Adams by giving it up gorgeously for God on "Order My Steps (Dear Lord)"). Best of all about this proud-making comeback disc is its clever use of samples: "Wind Blow" pins the Fleetwood Mac chestnut "The Chain" down to urban pavement without wrecking its spirit, and the smartly produced "The Streets" updates the vibe of Bobby Womack's timeless "Across 110th Street" while preserving its grit-covered class. --Tammy La Gorce

This is not a come back........2007-08-06
I have listened to Bone Thugs back in the days from their first album "Faces of Death". In comparison to their older albums (their first five albums) this album "Stenght & Loyalty" cannot compete. There is a lot of R&B incorporated which is not what most RAP/Hip-Hop listeners are looking for; R&B that is not top of the chart worthy (with the exception of "Lil' Love). Bone Thugs don't need to drop the R&B, but they need to start making more RAP/Hip-Hop style melodies/beats. I am sorry to say, in exception to a few songs on this album this album is a disappointment just like their other albums after "BTNH Resurrection".
Bone Thugs #1.......2007-07-24
Every track on this cd is good ive been a bonethugz fan ever since i could listen to music i grew up with most of there music so i was excited when i found out they where comin out with a new cd if you like bone thugs at all you should get this.
Lead Me, Guide Me.......2007-07-21
This track & "I Tried" are two of the best tracks I've heard from anyone in years.
I would compare them to DMX & 2Pac.
Keep up the great work guys.

Good Album.......2007-07-14
Bone Thugs come back strong with this latest addition. Their sound has been updated, but is still recognizable as uniquely Bone Thugs
OK .......2007-07-13
I was a bit disapointed because there are only two or three songs on the CD that I play. I guess my expectations were too high and too reminiscent of their old stuff. My son plays it non stop, hence the reason 3 stars!

TRULY A GREAT COMPILATION .......2006-04-29
THIS ALBUM IS OFF THE HOOK!!!! I have to give it up for Bone Thugs and Tomica Wright (who is an executive producer on the album). A lot of people come out with trashy hits album, that are just thrown together for money. I may only be 16, but trust me I know. This is the exact opposite. It has 26 songs, and is a 2-disc. All real hardcore Bone Thugs fans, like me, must have this album. It has "Tha Crossroads", "Look Into My Eyes", "Thug Luv", and every song that has been a major hit for them. No song is missing. Bone Thugs are just so ORGINAL, TALENTED, and everything that rappers should be. It is worth every bit of your 13 or 14 dollars, or however much cds cost at your local music carrier stores. It's Bone Thugs, so you know you can't go wrong.
Bone Thugs the best in the game!!!!.......2006-04-03
Yo before I review this album, I only got to say one thing. BONE THUGS N HARMONY IS THE BEST RAP GROUP EVER TO BE IN THE GAME. I listened to them since I was 6 years old. I play all day, everyday, 24/7/365. They Thuggish Ruggish til' the day they die. Now back to the greatest hits, they have a lot of great collections of song on this album, the classic "Crossroads (from E. 1999) (sampled from Isley Brothers "Make Me Say It Again"), "Look Into My Eyez", "Foe The Love Of $", "1st of da Month", and etc. But my favorite song on that whole Greatest Hits is "Money, Money". This has been in my CD player since I first bought it. I can't wait till their new album come out in summer.

A Straight Thuggin' CD...............2007-07-16
Bone Thugs is mad talented, this disc starts with "The Introduction" Mad creepy! It's is all about the hustle, and hangin' on the side, I can relate! "East 1999" had them reminiscing about being in the game, slanging and running from the crazy thugs in the streets, but, as long as you're cool, it's all good with Cleveland mad gangsta flava. "Eternal" has a sweet old school beat, all about getting that skrilla! Ducking and pumpin' shots, it's time to get paid! "Crept And We Came" has them in stealth mode, hurry in and get the job done, whether they have to bust a cap, collect ends or settle a debt.
"Down 71" starts with Bizzy Bone at trial. He is reflecting on how he got there and this track is full of action & violence, ghetto style! "The Bill Collector" can be said to get what is owed, on the real tip! Don't test BT&H or there will definitely be consequences. I love the homage to the underground on this! "Budsmokers Only" is a tokin' tune with the homies, it's all about smoking, the taste, the feeling, everything! (Check out any Kottonmouth Kings) "Crossroads" is the signature song here, how fitting it's at the middle of the CD. I guess this is all about finding yourself through reflections of your actions, whether good or bad. Keep prayin' brothers! "Me Killa" is poetic in verse, short, but to the point of being a straight, ruthless dealer!
"Land Of Tha Heartless" is about survival in Cleveland! Watch your back, is the clear message here, there's no place to run! "No Shorts, No Losses" can be said to let people know that these cats never want to get cheated or else! Whether it be drugs, or favors, if a double cross happens, it's time for someone to pay! "1st Of The Month" is a smooth party groove, Everyone's paid and it's time to get that party on. Grillin', Chillin, Stylin', and Profilin' it's that time to relax, hang, and smoke with the homies! "Buddah Lovaz" is silky smooth jam, only for the smokers, but the way they sang it, it makes me want to get laid for real! LOL! I guess you would call this a love song!
"Die Die Die" is a song I cant comprehend too much, accept for the fact that in the send they get got my the cops! "Mr. Ouija 2" is an obvious continuation of Ouija off the Creepin' Ah Come Up EP, Just trying to get insight on a murder about to happen. "Mo Murda" is segued from Ouija 2, but the actual act, based on what was told by the ouija! It's painted picture of how the ghetto is, when the game is involved. "Shotz To Tha Double Glock" rounds out this tale about taking care of business, protecting your hood and your homies is what it's about! Sort of a "Thuggalo" family (LOL! I use that reference because I am a die hard juggalo and I know ICP and Bone Thugs are tight!)
This Cd is straight gangsta for real. I mean it's subtle and to the point, honest, and real! If you ask me this is more prolific than Tupac, and very raw!! An excellent CD by Bone Thugs & Harmony!!!!
Best Album Ever.......2007-07-10
This is BY FAR one of the best selling Hip-Hop Records of all time. It beat Elvis' record!!!
Best of the Best!!.......2007-05-16
This is without a doubt Bone's best album ever! Even though they are still awesome today, they (nor anyone else) will ever be able to top this album. It's just great from beginning to end...even the interludes, which are really just them singing and aint nothin' wrong with that. You can't call yourself a true Bone fan if you don't own this album. If you dont, then go get it now cuz you're missing out!
BONE THUGS 4-EVER!!!
every song is a must listen!.......2007-03-19
this is in my opinion, the best rap group album ever. no other rap group these days have the fire, passion and talents like BONE. i know there's talk about the group getting back together next year, and i really hope so. they're not forgotten and they're gonna be bigger than ever. to the new BONE fans, this is the album that cemented them in hip hop, their videos were on mtv all the time and they were winning all kinds of awards...you won't be disappointed!
Best Rap Album of all Time.......2007-03-08
I've been listening to rap for well over a decade now and the best album of all time is this one. Nothing even compares. This album captures the essence of the city streets through sound and words. The beats are beautifully dark and evil. When I listen to this cd, I feel like I am in a wasteland in hell. The genius of these four artists to capture such emotion in a cd at the ages of 17-20 is unbelievable.

Hustlin', Flowin', and Chedda Showin'................2007-07-15
Bone Thugs is one of my favorite groups! "The Intro" is sort of a Freddy Krueger type of opening, very suspenseful, very Eazy E-esque, but with a Bone Thugs flava! "Mr Ouija" can be about knowing if "we" will live or die and how the demise with happen, this song is very prophetic, in the fact that in spite of what they do, they speculate what the consequences will be. "Thuggish, Ruggish, Bone", is a campy tune. The melody is hot and the song is definitely a classic for BT&H, mainly this is about just chillin, makin' money, hustlin', and pimpin'. I would classify this a a street blues jam, very well done!
"No Surrender" has a 'Zapp & Roger' feel mixed with 3rd Bass, LOL! This reminds me alot of a survival type track. I mean running and surviving on the streets. Especially getting revenge on those who mess with your crew! "Down Foe My Thang" can be said to be a 'self' track! I mean, on the streets, you gotta do what you gotta do. If hustlin' and drugs are your thing, then you gotta do what it takes to get the job done. Look behind the words on this track, I feel that it is saying to accomplish your dreams, any way you can. "Creepin On Ah Come Up" is the smooth title track. It reminds me of 'Welcome To Eazy's Playhouse' by Eazy E. (RIP). This is sort of a real gangsta track, reminiscing about thuggin', robbin', and thievin'.
"For Tha Love Of $" is all about making' dat chedda! No matter how you have to do it. Money is something one has to have and the thugs gotta keep rollin', making their ends. Eazy E shines phat on this track. "Moe Cheese" is just a continuation of 'For Tha Love Of $'. Overall, I would say that this Cd is for the pimps and hustlas, just trying to make it in the world, by any means necessary....
Short But Strong Introduction For Bone Thugs.......2007-06-02
This EP was recorded during the Golden Age of West Coast Rap and was created under the guidance of Gangsta Rap pioneer Eazy-E. This rap group come from Cleveland, Cleveland had never really had a hip-hop scene and this release helped create a sound for the Midwest. DJ U-Neek's productions are in the G-Funk style that was popular at the time, they are smooth and easy to listen to. Rapping is handled by Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Bizzy Bone and Flesh-N-Bone, they use a melodic, fast-flowing style that was something new to the hip-hop music genre.
The EP only really has 5 songs on it (not including the intro, 'Mr. Ouija' and 'Moe Cheese' which is the instrumental to 'Foe Tha Love Of $') which is the reason why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Their second album is overall stronger than this EP and is the group's highpoint of their career, I strongly recommend both of these CDs because they mark a changing point in hip-hop music.
sounds great on cd!!!.......2007-03-19
this is a classic!! i had this on cassette when it first came out, and this album still doesn't disappoint. to have this kind of talent and to still put out albums whether solo or group efforts...is awesome!! you looking for classic hip hop, especially music that changed hip hop...bone thugs is all that!!
The offical amazon hip hop reviewer.......2007-02-21
Hello everyone, Thank you for looking into bone thugz
" creepin' on ah come up "
This is one of my most loved albums in my collection and even though i am i huge fan of mostly west coast compton music this album has a unque style to it which is/has never been heard before or since
This is bone thugz second album even though alot of people do think it is there first, this is due to them changing there name when coming on to "ruthless records" B.O.N.E was the original name of this group.
This is a short album but please dont let this put you off buying it, it has well put together lyrics which need plentty of attention to pick up and maybe even needing to look up the lyrics.
This is by far there best album in my eyes
crazy lyrics with an exremely fast tempo. eazy e also come in with lyrics on the song " for the love $ "
The album was produced by eazy e and yella so expect only the best dark yet catch beats placed under so great lyrics and is one of my " must haves " to any hip-hop fan.
Much love
price.......2007-01-16
at best buy you can get this for 9 bucks but this album is awsome so go get it.

Batman & Robin THE COMPLETE SCORE by Elliot Goldenthal.......2007-01-20
For those who are interested in Elliot Goldenthal's score from Batman & Robin, there was an EXTREMELY LIMITED release of the complete score for collectors. I've seen asking prices as low as $57.00 up to $80.00 for a copy of the 2-disk CD. I happen to own one of the copies so I can tell you a thing or two about it; first of all, Goldenthal borrows a number of cues from his previous work on Batman Forever so you will hear some recycled material. There are some tracks that are worth playing over and over again (such as "Costume Ball") and then there are others that you'll skip every time you play it.....but with 28 tracks total, you'll have plenty to listen to! I personally enjoy Danny Elfman's work best of all (Batman, Batman Returns) but Goldenthal takes the music in new directions.
If you are lucky enough to track down a copy of this super-rare score, here is a listing of the tracks on both disks:
DISK ONE (62:14)
1. Main Titles (2:20)
2. Museum Mayhem (5:38)
3. Blast Off/Surfs Up (5:55)
4. Frozen Stiff (2:32)
5. Bane is Born (4:31)
6. Memories of Childhood (0:48)
7. Poison Ivy/Mr. Freeze's Plans (4:59)
8. Barbara Arrives (3:57)
9. Observatory Unveiling (1:57)
10. Ivy & Bruce (3:12)
11. Costume Ball (4:48)
12. Cool Party Crasher (4:15)
13. A Chilling Chase (2:35)
14. Matters of Trust (2:21)
15. Freeze on Ice/Renovations (7:10)
16. Main Titles Alternate (3:35)
DISK TWO (65.07)
1. Bike Race (4:33)
2. Secrets Revealed (1:44)
3. Prison Break/Freeze's Lair/Beauty and the Beast (4:22)
4. Ivy & Freeze Join Forces (0:55)
5. Alfred's Illness (0:33)
6. Partners Part/Seeing the Light (5:17)
7. Barbara's New Identity/Will you Trust Me/Observatory (7:11)
8. Invading Ivy's Garden (4:41)
9. Icing Gotham (3:04)
10. Storming the Observatory/Final Battle/A Helping Hand (13:11)
11. Partners Three (2:03)
12. End Credits (4:54)
Phew! That was a lot to type! Good luck tracking down a copy!
THE END.......2006-03-03
The End is the Beginning is the End is so good. the rest are all... meh... if you are a Smashing Pumpkins fan like myself, buy this, because those 2 songs are worth it. They pretty much sounds like Jellybelly meets Stand Inside Your Love, or something.
One of the best films ever made receives adequate musical accompaniment..........2005-08-05
The American moviegoing public really has completely lost its grasp upon what a 'FILM' is. America is uber-obsessed with 'MOVIES' - you know, lets blow up some trucks and make sure our protagonist falls in love with a beautiful blonde bombshell. What America doesn't understand anymore is that MOVIES can be art - they can be FILMS. They can be substantative, evocative, heartbreaking meditations on the human condition. 'BATMAN AND ROBIN' is one of these FILMS, though it has never even been touched by snooty (and misinformed) American critics, who would rather run out and see the new Bertolucci of Jarmusch film. Go to Italy, the country that PRACTICALLY INVENTED MOVING CINEMA, and you will read a much different story. They appreciate this film - all good films - as the true art that they can be.
Ok, though, enough ranting LOL. Seriously, I just sometimes get SO P.O'd BY AMERICAN IDIOTS LOLOL! This soundtrack is pretty good. Not necessarilly my favorite music, but I do not feel that this should be how a SOUNDTRACK IS CONSIDERED. I mean, seriously people. THIS MUSIC PROPPELED THE FILM PRETTY BRILLIANTLY! It's almost impossible to imagine this film - which I consider has been unjustly robbed of being considered brilliant - without the relatively brilliant (contextually) soundtrack. Perhaps not worth buying, I mean, I barely listen to this one anymore, but worth checking out, if only to remember your firsttime seeing B+R. A powerful accompaniment.
Saved by the Score.......2005-04-15
Since this album is such an eclectic mix, I have a hard time believing that anyone could like all of the songs. Most will probably only like a few of them. For me, those songs were "Lazy Eye", "Gotham City", "Foolish Games".
However, these songs weren't the CD's real saving grace. What I actually thought was cool was that the Batman instrumental theme was on this disc. However, after opening with some decent tunes and then hitting these bright spots, I felt that the album generally goes downhill. Maybe I just don't dig this kind of music, but I sure didn't find myself singing along, that's for sure.
One of the best MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS........2005-01-16
I bought this when I was five years old. I LIKED (past tense) only one song and that would be track 13: "Elliot Goldenthal: A Batman Overture". But now that I listned more carefully, I realize there are good song on this album:
1.- "The Smashing Pumpking: The End Is The Begining Is The End".- A very strange title. I like this song, but it has a grissly intro.- 4/5.
2.- "Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony: Look Into My Eyes".- A good song. Finally an unbulgar rap song.- 4/5.
3.- "R. Kelly: Gotham City".- This one is one of the best songs on this album. I like this kind of songs, calmed and relaxing and a little joyfull.- 5/5.
4.- "Arkarna: House On Fire".- Don't like this kind of songs that much.- 2/5.
5.- "R.E.M.: Revolution".- I love this song. Very much. A great one on this album.- 5/5.
6.- "Jewel: Foolish Games".- I also like this one just as much as "R. Kelly: Gotham City".- 5/5.
7.- "Goo Goo Dolls: Lazy Eye".- I love this song as much as "R.E.M.: Revolution".- 5/5.
8.- "Lauren Christy: Breed".- Good song, but not as good as "R. Kelly: Gotham City".- 3/5.
9.- "Soul Coughing: The Bug".- I do not like this one. Too strange.- 2/5.
10.- "Moloko: Fun For Me".- I don't like this one either.- 2/5.
11.- "Me'shell Ndegéocello: Poison Ivy".- A strange song. I'm not that much of a fan of this one.- 3/5.
12.- "Eric Benét: True To Myself".- As good as "R. Kelly: Gotham City".- 5/5.
13.- "Elliot Goldenthal: A Batman Overture".- O.K. When I was five, I loved this song, I played it all day. But now I hate this kind of songs (composed with symphonys and specialy for the motion picture) and realize there are better songs on this album. Such as "Gotham City", "Revolution", "True To Myself", "Lazy Eye", "Foolish Game", etc.- 3/5
14.- "Underworld: Moaner".- Horrible. Bad. The worst on this album. I hate this kind of songs.- 0/5.
15.- "The Smashing Pumpkins: The Beggining Is The End Is The Beggining".- This song is the same as the first track on this album, but slower and darker. If you notice in the title from the first song: where it says beggining, on the last track says end...anyway, I stick to the first version.- 3/5.
O.K. So this album is not that great, but for me, this one is the best banda sonora fo all MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS I own. It has more variation and great songs. If you want to buy this album, then buy it, but...if you don't...then I understand why.
Anyway, my point here is that I HATE MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS, but I think this one is an exception.

Much Luv!!!.......2007-05-23
The Art Of War, the title says it all. This is probobly one of the best 2 disc I've heard. I mean, 'Let The Law End', 'Friends', 'Wasteland Warriors', 'Thug Luv', 'Look Into My Eyes',' Ready 4 War'. I mean, this is only 6 songs out of the 28 tracks. The beats are smooth, lyrics are violent.A Must H!
ART OF WAR!!!! MR. LEATHER FACE.......2007-01-16
IN MY OPINION THIS IS BONE THUGS SECOND BEST CD. IF YOU ARE STARTING TO GET INTO BONE THUGS NOW I RECCOMEND THIS CD WITH E.1999.ETERNAL WICH IS ANOTHER GREAT ALBUM.. THIS CD YOU CAN REALLY JUST PRESS PLAY AND LET IT PLAY NO SKIPPIN' TRACK CUZ THEIR ALL WORTH LISTENIN'
The best of The Thugs IMO.......2006-05-11
When you're dealing with 2 disc efforts it's always a delicate balance. You always have to appreciate the extra songs, but then you dread the filler material that had to be inserted. The Art of War is one of those 2 CD efforts, and one that comes off quite well. The Art of War gets no press. It's a disc that nobody ever talks about, but a great one nonetheless.
The disc some of my personal favorites: "Handle the Vibe", "Look Into My Eyes", "Body Rott", "Mind of a Souljah", "If I Could Teach the World", "Thug Luv", "Wasteland Warriors", "U Ain't Bone", "Friends", and "Evil Paradise". This is almost a full disc full of songs that I really love. One doesn't realize how many good songs are on here until one looks at the back and really counts. This doesn't even include the songs that are okay. The sheer content of good songs really sets Art of War apart from most 2 CD efforts (and one CD efforts).
Another interesting point is that this stage is a sort of half evolved Bone Thugs. They aren't the youngsters from East 1999 Eternal or Creepin on ah Come Up and fortunately they're not at all like they are on BNTHResurrection. They are so smooth, so professional, and the raps are fast. They branch out from plainly violent raps with harsh beats. The CD is smooth. The beats are polished and the lyrics are strong. The Bone Thugs trade in their glocks for books on this effort. They really get a lot more contemplative on Art of War. They rarely get dumb on this album and sound like the patriarchs of rap that they are. They don't point out how good they are; they simply pump out good tracks.
Art of War is simply a collection of mostly laid back cool Bone tracks. They have it all on this CD and the number of tracks only adds to it. It has an awesome vibe throughout. It's not terribly dark, but it is somewhat mysterious. The beats are generally off the beaten path. They experiment with gun sounds in "Thug Luv" featuring 2Pac. The beat in "Body Rott" has a weird, but interesting feel to it as well. Remixes and remakes of old songs are also well done with "Friends" and "Evil Paradise". Bone successfully puts their stamp on these songs that could have been horrid flops.
The downside is that there is no crescendo on the Art of War. There isn't a song that really personifies the album or that brings it to the most elite level. Top 10 hits simply aren't here. The CD sets a tone and basically does not change throughout both discs. This isn't really a bad thing, unless you strictly aren't feeling it from the start.
This album reminds me of Cube's War and Peace Vol. 1. It has no signature song but it really has a lot of good tracks on it. When a CD achieves this type of consistency I feel the need to reward them. I can listen to this CD all the way through and not fall asleep. This is really the pinnacle Bone Thugs album, in my view.
Excellent Album.......2006-03-05
I have read many reviews of this album that say that there is too much filler on this album, and that it should have been reduced to just one disc with only the best songs. I disagree though, with so many tracks on this album even people who aren't bone thug fans will be able to find something they like. Although in my opinion not quite as good as E.1999 this is probably Bones most diverse album.
Great Album.......2006-02-22
This is a very good cd.At first i thought it was ok then it grew on me.This cd really worth yo money. My Fav. tracks are Thug Luv,If I Could Teach The World, Clog Up Yo Mind and family tree.A must have for bone fans.

Few things are as potentially embarrassing as a moment in popular culture whose time has just passed. Worse still is when it reappears, insisting upon its continued relevance. Such is the case with this Bone Thugs-N-Harmony reunion album. The platinum-selling Eazy-E protégés break off yet another piece of their double-time sing-song rhyme style, while once more celebrating gangsta themes to the exclusion of almost everything else. (One new development: in one song, they add Ecstasy to their regimen of ganja, ganja, and ganja.) For all that, BTNHResurrection is a pristine work of production; those who didn't find the group's act tedious the first time around might not mind hearing more of the same. --Rickey Wright
Customer Reviews:
The Last Great Album Bone Made.......2007-05-17
Before going under, that is. As Thug World Order was very average, for Bone thugs, anyway. Bone 4 Life was a good album, but just barely. Thug Stories was also a good album, better than Thug World Order and Bone 4 Life, because DJ U-NEEK, one of Bone's long time producers, came back to do some work on it. Strength & Loyalty is probably their worst C.D. to date, but still on the verge of good. We all know, Faces of Death, Creppin' On Ah Come Up, East 1999 Eternal, and The Art of War were all EXCEPTIONAL C.D.'s. Practically flawless.
Now to BTHNResurrection...
Yes, it's Bone is still amazing on this album. Krayzie still with the best flow, Bizzy falling directly behind him, Layzie still tearing it up, Wish still doing his thing, and A LOT more of the underrated: Flesh-N-Bone, who actually appeared on 15/16 of the tracks. He also really rips the tracks apart.
As for the tracks:
#1) Show 'Em - 8.5/10: A great start to the album.
#2) The Righteous Ones - 10/10: The best track on the C.D. Layzie's flow is really smooth and great, Bizzy also does great work here. Same for Flesh.
#3) 2 Glocks - 10/10: Another amazing addition to the Bone songs. Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, and Flesh really rip this track apart, especially Krayzie and Flesh.
#4) Battlezone - 9.75/10: Phew, Krayzie's verse is really long, and also really awesome. Grand song.
#5) Ecstacy - 9.25/10: They all do an excellent job on this song, and it's overall superb.
#6) Murder One - 10/10: If The Rigteous Ones isn't the best song on the track, this would have to be it. Bizzy, Layzie, and Flesh tear it up, boy.
#7) Souljah's Marching - 10/10: Layzie is extremely good on this track, but then again, so is Bizzy and Flesh. Amazing song.
#8) Servin' Tha Fiends - 9.25/10: Excellent track. Bizzy, Layzie, and Flesh work the track, as usual.
#9) Resurrection (Paper, Paper) - 10/10: You gotta love this laidback track. Feel good song, with all 5 of the Thugs working it.
#10) Can't Give It Up - 8.5/10: A great song, w/Kray, Lay, Biz, and Flesh doing their usual.
#11) Weed Song: you know what? I can't remember this track.
#12) Change The World - 9/10: Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh do some good work on this great track.
#13) Don't Worry - 9.25-9.5/10: Sounds like a class Bone song to me, with all of the Thugs on it. Awesome track.
#14) Mind On Our Money - 8.5-8.75/10: Another great track. Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, and Flesh on the track.
#15) No Way Out - 8.75-9/10: Layzie, Bizzy, and Flesh on track, great song.
#16) One Night Stand - 9.25/10: Superb Bizzy solo track. He really rips it up! Awesome outro to this awesome C.D.
End result: BUY THE C.D. Whether you be a Bone Thug fan or not, which I am an extreme fan, just buy it. Anyone who has any taste in Rap will love the album. Overall, a superb C.D.
The reason Bone fails to be as good as they were is simple: Bizzy is gone, Flesh is in prison 'til '08, new and average producers, giving them a mordern sound, minusing the old Bone Thug sound we all love, and finally, TOO many guest appearances on Strength & Loyalty. Putting people on a different level on the same tracks as Bone doesn't work out so well.
God bless.
Nowhere near their best.......2006-05-11
Resurrection is another in the series of new sound Bone albums. These Bone Thugs have very little in common with the Thugs from the previous albums. They seem less ravenous to rap at a quick pace and their songs seem to have mellowed out a lot. I think the Bone Thugs are trying to rap about things they really don't do any more. Any time a group gets rich and comfortable this will happen. The Bone Thugs really hit the wall on this effort.
The album isn't all bad, but it's not mostly good either. I count 5 songs I like, and it's not a strong like. You can probably make it through the first 9 songs and think it's not a bad effort. There are some good songs for Bone fans on here. I like "2 Glocks", "Souljah's Marching", and "Battlezone" best. These are the songs where the thugs come back to their roots the best on. These are the somewhat fast, pretty warlike, and have a nice beat to them.
Of course, I won't slam on the style of the Thugs. While it is noticeably slower and different, they can still tear it up. For Example, I want to hear Bizzy rolling at full speed, not hear him whine. They can still do it, but they just seem reluctant to do it in this album.
The real problem I have with this CD is that there are no songs I think of that compel me to put the CD in. There are songs I like once it's on but none that I look forward to. It is just the Bone Thugs just kind of kicking it. They come with very reg songs and expect you to think it's the best thing since sliced bread. It's not that they don't break new ground, it's just that they do less of what they set the precedent for in Come Up and East 1999. A lot of the CD is too laid back. When I put in the Bone Thugs I want fast violent rapping, not songs that just kind of slip along.
I'm also calling the Bone Thugs out for Ecstasy. We don't need you f_____s telling people to do drugs. There are enough people on drugs already. I don't undertsnad how you can put out a song like "Change the World" when earlier on the album you tell people "X" is the hottest thing rolling. I really denounce this. We accept the chronic as a part of the culture, but in general I do not approve of drug pushing on CD's.
Resurrection is okay for the Bone Thugs fan. This means that if you are not a fan steer clear. I bought Resurrection and wanted to love it. I can't even like it, and I like Bone. Resurrection did not convince the generation of kids that didn't grow up on Come Up and East 1999, and I can't blame them. I was really hoping this CD would be a lot better than it turned out to be.
Surprisingly great album.......2006-04-16
As a longtime Bone Thugs fan, I admit I put off buying "BTNHResurrection" for much too long. I didn't think anything could top other albums like "Creepin on ah Come Up", "E 1999 Eternal", "Art of War", or "Thug Mentality" and I expcted to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised, as "BTNHResurrection" deserves to be spoken of in the same company as the previously mentioned. Bone is lyrically great here, sounding more mature than previously, less mainstream oriented than on "The Art of War". The production, handled by DJ U-Neek, LT Hutton, and Jamie Thomas is consistent and good, fitting their style perfectly. This is also the only Bone album where Flesh-N-Bone appears consistently, on the vast majority of the tracks. On "BTNHResurrection", Bone's lyrics deal with shutting down rumors, and then evolve to the thuggish imagery of their previous albums, along with a few great inspirational tracks thrown in. "BTNHResurrection" is definitely a great album deserved to be owned by any passing BTNH fan.
The album leads off with the strong "Show 'Em", anchored by Bizzy, shunning haters over a tough beat. "The Righteous Ones" is a hard song with a weird chorus by David's Daughters. "2 Glocks" is a well produced, tough song led by Krayzie in the chorus. On "Battlezone", a good war song, Krayzie and Bizzy lead with a good chorus and singing. On "Ecstasy", Bone deals with a new drug on the block, with a beat reminiscent of "Smokin Buddha". Bizzy sings the chorus on the strong "Murder One", as Krayzie does on the similarly good "Souljahs Marching". After the pretty good "Servin' the Fiends" is the best track, "Resurrection (Paper, Paper)". It's a slower track, excellently produced with a great bassline and instrumentals, a teamed chorus with Krayzie and Bizzy, and top notch philosophical verses from all. "Weed Song" is an evolved "Buddah Lovaz", with old soul samples. "Change the World" is another great highlight, led by Bizzy Bone's thoughtful chorus. They deal with the problems in the world and how to change them, with DJ U-Neek's famous piano instrumental. "Don't Worry" is an inspirational, happier song with a piano and bass beat and good lyrics. "Mind on Our Money" and "No Way Out" are both standard, hard Bone Thugs songs, and the album ends with a bonus solo track by Bizzy Bone.
Anyone who owns and thoroughly enjoys any Bone Thugs-N-Harmony release (as I imagine you do if you are reading this) would definitely love "BTNHResurrection". It is a very strong album, exhibiting all the talent, lyrics, and production that makes Bone great.
I'm The BIGGEST BONE THUGS FAN EVER!!!!.......2006-04-04
I love this group they keep it Thuggish Ruggish. This album is hot not the best but it's hot, there's a lot of songs that I be bumpin all day like "Can't Give Up", "Change The World", "Resurrection", "Ecstasy", and "Righteous Ones". I just watched all their videos from this album and forgot how much this use to be the stuff man. I bought it and been bumpin it all day. BTNHResurrection is a straight up bass bumpin CD. All my Bone Thugs fan COP THIS IF U AIN'T GOT IT!!!!!
I don't know about some people who don't know...........2006-02-03
This album is a really good album. So much more harmony than any other bone albums and this is definitely a resurrection after the Art of War and what people thought happened to Bone Thugs breaking up. But seriously, every song on this album is a hit and to point out some of the bone classics on this album....Paper,Paper deffnite classic...Change The World is the shiiiiiiit although the remix with Krayzie isnt on this which is mesmerizing. Everyone heard the Weed Song and Ecstacy, 2 Glocks ....just get this album.

The best of Mo Thugs.......2006-03-15
This is by far the best Mo Thugs album. Family Scriptures was good but Family Reunion is much better. I know it has been said before but Ghetto Cowboy is an incredible song. It is not often that you will find such innovation from a rap song. Overall there is alot more talent on Family Reunion then on the groups past efforts. Souljah Boy,The Graveyard Shift, Thug Queen, Felecia and Ken Dawg all make positve contributions to the album. The biggest disapointments came from Poetic Hustlaz,MT5, and Flesh N Bone. I was especially disapointed by the Poetic Hustlaz after hearing how good there solo album Trials and Tribulations was. After Family Reunion it was all downhill for Mo Thugs. I believe it was because Krayzie Bone stopped contributing to the cause and instead started his own Thugline Records.
Mo'Thugs II=Off The HOOK!.......2005-09-28
This cd is a really good assortment of the cleveland based rap group, Mo'Thugs. Their flows are sick, and their beats are the bomb. There is some help from bone, but thats what makes this album a classic. the "singing" style is what makes them original and classic, so go out and get this Awsome album.

They ain't nuthin wrong bout mo thugs but they ain't nuthin special bout dem.As much as i luv bone mo thugs is just a group of fam and friends they wanted to bring up wit dem.NOW GRAVEYARD SHIFT...DATS ANOTHER STORY.Tombstone and Sin got a style no one can match,to tell you tha truth i like dem so much i payed bout 14 dollars to here 1 song but tha rest of the cd aint bad.
Lovin' tha Mo Thuggin'.......2005-04-17
This Mo Thugs album is the best of all four. Theres no question about it that I would give five stars. Aint said no names & Mo Thuggin are two of the best songs on the album. Also who cares if they talk trash about other rappers with similar styles. You cant expect Bone not to talk bak after these other rappers started it. Besides Do or Die aint on good, Twista's soft, but I have to give Crutial Conflict some props.

It's somehow appropriate that Ruthless Records' first release since the death of its founder, Eazy-E, would come from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, a Cleveland-based crew that mixes the smooth L.A. gangsta grooves Eazy helped create with the group's spooky fascination with the afterlife. It's as if Eazy still talks to the members of Bone--Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh N'--through their beloved Ouija board. And, it seems, even in death the gangsta rap pioneer isn't a bit repentant.
Following last year's multiplatinum EP, Creepin' on Ah Come Up, Bone have put together a debut long-player that builds on everything the first record promised. That is, E.1999 Eternal contains some of the most beautiful music you'll ever be repulsed by. Bone's vocal style is so tuneful and harmonically coordinated that it sounds more like a ghostly chant/sing than like traditional rap. But like Boyz II Men's evil twins, Bone offer up a complex potion of bittersweet crooning and poisonous rapid-fire rhyming that takes us deep into the dark side of life and the twisted side of death. That E.1999 Eternal is so musical only makes its noxious lyrical content all the more subversive. --Roni Sarig

One of the greatest.......2007-02-04
The album that put BTNH on the map. If you're a true BTNH fan, you'll know that you can listen to this cd from track 1-17 without skipping any. Thuggish Ruggish was in full effect, and everyone was loving it.

Bone's best album.......2004-09-12
Not only is this Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's best album, but this is also one of the best albums ever made. I highly recommend this album to any rap fan, your collection is not complete without this. If you don't have this album, then go and buy it right now! Absolute CLASSIC!
One of the all-time greats.......2004-08-15
This is Bone's best work, EASILY, nothing comes even close to this (bar Creepin On Ah Come Up). Without this, you have no idea what rap music is, because this is EXACTLY what rap is. This album is CLASSIC, and is right up there with the best rap albums ever. Ever track is classic, not one week track. But, my favthe best of the best would have to be East 1999, Down '71, Mr Bill Collector, Budsmokers Only, Crossroads, 1st Of Tha Month, Mo' Murda, and Shotz To Tha Double Glock. If only modern groups were putting music out like this...it would take over the whole universe !!! Really, its better than 100% of the junk out there in the mainstream today, so if you don't have it...what more can i say than, GET IT!
hardcore fast-beated ryhmes.......1999-12-29
