Very Good Unknown Album.......2006-04-08

I got this album back when I was a freshmen in highschool. I loved it from the first listen. More than half the tracks are really good. They have some "having a good time" rhymes that we can all relate to. The production is pretty damn good. It's a surprise not too many people know about Tha Mexakinz. Although they're from Los Angeles, they have a Hip Hop sound. Very tight.

Worth sneakin' across the border for..........2005-02-17

Being a big Delinquent Habits fan, i decided to give this a try, (especially after hearing "wake up show") and wasnt hugely disappointed. ALthough i would rate I-MAN a better lyricist i'd have to say the D.Habits prodution is far better, making their tracks more appealing. That said there's 5 absolute bangers on here in the shape of "wake up show", "2 many mc's", "provoke the extreme", realism" and the "burnin' hot" remix. There are other solid hiphop tracks such as "u dont even know me", "never in this world", "confessions", and "instinct" to make it a worthwhile album.The remaining joints however are what takes away from this. Both of SINFUL's solo tracks "la plaga" and "problems" are weak, along with "headz or taylz" and "plead insanity". Overall it's not a bad album for the 8 or 9 tracks i mentioned. Worth a listen.

GREATEST LATINO HIP HOP GROUP EVER.......2001-12-12

This album is excellent, great delivery in both English and Spanish on both Sinful's and I-man's parts, the greatest ever to enter the rap game but where have they been these past few years?! They have me hooked now but they ain't comin' out with anything new! I mean Delinquent Habits are a great latino hip-hop group but Tha Mexakinz were/are THA BOMB!

yo not only do these guys take their lyrical flows to new dimensions. . but they do it in spanish...sinful aka el pecador drops his spanish rapping skills and shows us how much better he is at it than any other latino hip hop artist. .with xibit, chino xl, frost and others. .these guys got what it takes to impress the best of them

The best Latino hip-hop around!.......1999-09-21

Tha Mexakinz are the best Latino hip-hop group outthere. They are the most talented lyrically (they rhyme in both English and Spanish) and they also got dope production. This album is a classic in Latino hip-hop, and a must buy if you like Latino rap.

this crew out of long beach was simply overlooked with thier second album definitly being better than thier first.the production by sinful is out of this world he winning turntableist of the yr in the early 90's also spits fire with his hardhittin flows in spanish which are unmatched by any other m.c and intellect better known as i-man i beleive is one of the best m.c.'s period he spits so dope i can't even find words to describe i think you all should definitly buy thier albums and you'll see the mexakinz represent for the raza and the city of long beach . peace out this has been a review by the one the only camaflauge one u.s.c.krew long beach north side

This group is known for their crazy hip hop, so was shocked to hear them blowing up with the alternative stylie competing with groups like Rage Against The Machine on this record. Live instruments, with hard guitars and a Latin ska/punk feel, and somehow they never lose their hip hop credibility anywhere in the record - these kids are tight! The single, "Rain on Your Parade" is as good as anything out there. If you want to hear where music is headed, check this CD out.
