One thing you'll notice about my reviews, I try to only review the releases I like. I don't want to thrash anybody, you know? It's hard enough to get your own music recorded and released, let alone find success... With that said,

I WILL NOW REVIEW MY OWN BAND! YOU READ IT RIGHT, I do play guitars and keyboards for Psionic.

Nu-Tech Cyber Sorcery was recorded with a Roland 24 track HD recorder. I think the sound quality is pretty damn good, with that taken into consideration. It's as good as anything that's come out of Abyss Studio, that's for sure. The drums are a little flat, but that's because they were programmed. We should have added a little bit of reverb to them. The guitar sound is awesome on some songs, and a little better than average on others, but the bass sounds great on every song. The best song on here (in my opinion) is "Deleted Souls", although there are a couple close seconds: "Demon Energy Cube" and "Serpentine Frequencies" The first track, "Thought Bomb" has really intricate drum programming , some stellar keyboard work, and the heaviest guitars on the CD. The keyboard sounds were step-recorded, which means that the keyboard itself has a multi-track recorder built-in (so to speak) and once you save your work on the keyboard, it can be played back with a touch of a button perfectly every time. And don't tell me that this is "cheating" because every friggin' band that uses keys these days does that, except for a couple Power Metal bands... Put it this way, if you listen to the bands I've mentioned above (SAMAEL, KOVENANT, KMFDM, or even STATIC-X) you will like this CD - just for the fact that an American band pulled off this sound!!! Think about it, most American bands try to copy what the Euopeans do, except they usually do a lousy job!! I can say (without bragging) that we are certainly comparable to the European Industrial/Rock/Metal bands.
