Great collaboration.......2005-03-18
Wow! Nelly and Christina together is just sexy! The song is fun, flirty and Tina's pipes go beautifully with Nelly's rapping. They're both charasmatic fearless artists and the chemistry is so amazing you'd swear they had something going on the side!
Fun single.......2005-03-06
"Tilt Ya Head Back" just seemed mediocre when I heard snippets of it here and there, but once I sat there and listened to the whole thing, I realized it's a pretty good single-probably the best track off `Sweat.' Nelly's sultry flow spices up the beat perfectly, and Miss Aguilera's vocals are still one of the most pleasant things in the world to listen to. She's got breathtaking range and versatility, and in this song her voice's honeyed, creamy, velvety qualities rise to Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey levels. So Nelly's jammin' flow and Christina's undeniable diva-ness aside, the beat is pretty darn catchy and old-school, but not enough so to be irritating to younger listeners. I like it the more I hear it-it doesn't get as frenzied as most club bangers nowadays, and it's a track you can just groove to. Now that he's done duets with both *Nsync and Christina Aguilera, Nelly has proved that he does indeed have the balls to do duets with pop stars-and anyone who's complaining about that needs to get a life. Eminem's duet with Dido proved to be one of the best (and most successful) songs he's ever done. Christ, even 2Pac's done some tracks with pop moguls (multiple ones, in fact). It's not quite as good as some of Nelly's older hits (and if you're a pop/R&B fan, it's not even worth comparing to Christina's previous work-I also don't believe this and her cover of "Car Wash" are nearly as good as her older side projects, such as the addictive "Lady Marmalade" and the stunning ballad "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely"). All in all, these two had far better chemistry than I expected, and this is a fun little track.
a song you can tilt ya head back to.......2004-11-26
this song at first i was unsure of but after hearing it every ten seconds on the radio and the awsome proformence they did at the '04 vma's it was clear what a good song this was. it features both tlented rapping skills of nelly and christina aguilera's powerful heavenly like voice. if you dont get this its your loss. its truely a great song.(oh yeah and christina aguilera never teamed up with nysnc)
average.......2004-11-23
i like the song i dont think its the best song nelly or christina have put out but overall its a good song and i dont think christina is to blame since she didnt write any of the lyrics she just sang what they gave her so i think its all nelly and both of his albums are a dissapointment, but you'll have to be the judge of that
Pathetic.......2004-11-20
Is it just me, or has Nelly lost every ounce of credibility he once possessed? Teaming up with pop-star Christina Aguilera wasn't such a good idea either, it didn't work when Nelly worked with N'SYNC, and it doesn't work here either. This is just another watered-down made-for-the-radio song featuring two hitmakers, but that doesn't really mean anything. Nelly doesn't even think about rapping here either, you can hear him crying "SHE'S RIGHT YA KNOW, SHE'S RIGHT" in his annoying high-pitched voice, also displaying his feeble lyrical abilities as well. Nelly is becoming a shadow of his former self, which wasn't even very much to begin with.

Nelly and Christina go back in time to the 1920s!.......2005-01-31
There are two styles of music being bought together on this single that is surprisingly effective. I would have never thought that Nelly's hard-core rapping ability would ever be combined with the sultry yet powerful voice of Christina in a song that is sexy, naughty, extravagant and fun too!
Also the video fits the song like a glove, putting Christina in typical 1920s Charleston outfits with Nelly looking downright fabulous in a suit and trilby.
I loved both the song and the video, sometimes one doesn't work without the other but in this it works like a charm.
Delicious!
