Livin' In A Raider Nation

About the Artist
Originally from Oakland, Dynamo has been a life long Raiders fan having gone to his first game when he was only six months old. Many years later Dynamo is receiving his big break into the music business thanks to a song he wrote about the Raiders called "Welcome to The Black Hole." The fans that sit in this section at the Oakland Raiders games are known for being some of the loudest and most loyal. Dynamo performed the song before the Raiders first home playoff game against the Miami Dolphins this past January 6, 2001, with 48 dancing cheerleaders behind him he lead the crowd to a tremendous roar for the Raiders!

Dynamo realized he had some talent for rapping when he was still in Jr. High School. He started out as a DJ but always had a feeling rapping would get him where he wanted to be. The name Dynamo came about in his sophomore year of high school when he had to look the word up as part of an assignment. "The second definition said that a dynamo is a hard-working forceful person," said Dynamo. One of his teachers had told him that he felt the word described him, so the name stuck. When there's something that he wants, Dynamo goes after it and works hard for it.

Dynamo had been writing songs and rapping on his own, but the missing piece to the puzzle came in when he hooked up with Mr. Miller and C.H. from 880 Records. His songwriting combined with their beats and production skills, brought you the music you hear today. Dynamo hopes music fans will enjoy the quality of his music and appreciate the originality of it. "I'm not trying to fill anyone else's shoes… I want to make my own mark," he said.

Product Description
On this release you get a great example of what Dynamo's music is all about. These songs on here were inspired by and written for the Oakland Raiders football team. Dynamo was inspired to write 'Welcome to The Black Hole" during the first game of the 2000 season when the Raiders had the San Diego Chargers backed up on their own one yard line. The fans in the south end zone, who are known as the Black Hole, made so much noise that the Chargers players couldn't hear the quarterback audible to a different play. The result of the play was a safety, a victory for the Raiders, and the inspiration for Dynamo's song.

The second Raider's inspired song titled 'Say What' (track 7) came to Dynamo after listening to several people tell him that the team was no good and that they wouldn't make the playoffs. Dynamo wrote this song to call out all the Raider-Haters and see what they have to say now that the team won the AFC West Championship. He feels that these songs are a must have for every Raider fan because "They come from the heart of a true Raider fan." Dynamo hopes these songs will give his fellow fans the inspiration they need to stand up for their team when somebody else is talking trash.

This album of Oakland Raider inspired music is Dynamo's way of introducing himself to the public and letting them know what he's all about.
