Rocky Padilla's voice floats straight outta los varrios del Suroeste and captures the best parts of chicanismo. Listen to Rocky's music on a warm summer night and you might get a glimpse of what it meant to be Chicano/a when the words were new and meant Raza was on the move towards a better future. Que viva Rocky! Que siga la Causa!

I just received my cd yesterday and haven't stop listening to it yet. It is that beautiful, soft, music filled with beautiful words that takes you down memory lane. I have been looking for this type of music for years and came across it by accident. His volume 1 is already on order and you can bet I will purchase any future releases by Rocky. He's rates at the top of my favorites right next to Billy Stewart and Willie G. as far as I am concerned.
