this is a raw old school underground cd. if u love that old school mobb music this is a must have. i especially like keep a 38 and "the anthem for the street car culture" MOBBIN IN MY OLD SCHOOL! if you are a sic wid it fan , get it!

Yay AAAREA! Another classic from the gangster 90's.......2005-07-03

This album is sick-wid-it. Why I never noticed it back in 1995, when I was gettin the new "In A Major Way" is beyond me. But now 10 years later I heard this track "Mobbin' In My Old School" on the radio and tracked it down. I heard both versions and this album version is better, but why he change "it was the Savage(B-Legit) doin damage wit the Israel" to "it was K-1 gettin dumb wit the Israel" and other lines like "Dolemite done possessed with youngsta" to "Frank Nitty done possesed this youngsta". Also "addicted to the Louis smoke" to "addicted to the doja smoke". This new version is a little cleaner and Bruce sound older, but Im wondering where this old version came from, and if he changed the lyrics when he switched to Thizz entertainment, and no more reppin' Sick-Wid-It.

Little Bruce's first solo album "XXXtra Manish" is nothing short of slammin'! His rapping style is rough and hard core. Even better, are his beats. Beats like "Mobbin' My Oldschool," "Raw Deal," "Foot Locka Crew," and more are some of the best of any beats from Sick Wid It Records. They are hard hitting, and they are ones you can lowride and hit switches to. They have a touch of old school feel to them. Even though it's hardcore, it's fun to listen to. It's a shame he was not as successful as E-40, B-Legit, Celly Cel, and the others.

Sick Wid It Records has always been one of the greatest idependent labels in the Rap Game. This album which is from 1994 proves that again. Little Bruce comes out with much heat on this album. His raw lyrics make this album one of the most hardcore albums on Sick Wid It. Little Bruce is also joined on this album by his crew - the Funk Mobb - Well-know rapper Mac Shawn, G-Note and K-1. There're guest appearences by Kaveo and Levitti too. The beats are very very tight all over the album. The producers are Studio Ton and Mike Mosley & Sam Bostic and someone who knows Bay Area rap knows that it's very very rare that they dissapoint on their beat. The album is pretty harcore, but it's got also some more laid back songs on it. If you like that Sick Wid It Mobb s**t you're sure to love this album. Little Bruce is a GREAT rapper, one of the best unknown rappers ever and he really surprised me with his talent. I don't know where he dissapeared in the last few years but he's got a new album out, that I'll check out soon, it's called "Give it to me baby".

For all of you who like the flava of the bay area you gotta check this out. And if you dont like the flava of the bay you need to check yourself. Little Bruce comes raw with funk mobb mentality. You gotta buy this dope album.
