Bum Endeavors [Explicit Lyrics]

Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
Homeless Nation is the most anticipated underground group in the industry, today! Even big names in the music industry today, considers Homeless Nation to be the West Coasts next generation. They have made a name for themselves, by selling their own tapes and CDs on the streets without the help of any distribution companys nor retail stores. Of their four (4) Albums entitled Keep It Movin, Up for Adoption, Homeless Nations Da Soundtrack and Bum Endeavors, they have all been sold on the streets solely by Homeless Nation.

This group of family members are comprised of three groups (Da Orfenz, Foster Boyz and Nomadz) and 4 solo artist (J-Walq, Misstress, Fo-Eyze, and Toofpic). D-Redz, S-Kimo, and Lunch makeup the trio DaOrfenz, Nile-River and Gambit are the duo Foster Boyz, and Pitch Blaq and Draq for the due Nomadz. But all together, the seven different acts in this family form as one group called Homeless Nation.

This talented family came together as one group in 1995. Prior to this collaboration they were known in their hometown, Moreno Valley as the most fierce group of MCs ever to form together in the whole Inland Empire. They would go from city to city battling other crews and performing shows throughout Southern California. The family then came up with the name Homeless Nation. The name Homeless Nation describes the trials and tribulations the groups has endured, while trying to break into the music industry. In the past labels did not want to take a chance signing Homeless Nation because they did not fall into the so called West Coast Gangster Rap category, nor did they fall into the East Coast Don Mafioso style of Hip Hop, and furthermore, labels felt that Homeless Nation wasnt abstract enough to be categorized and promoted as being underground. So the family decided on the name Homeless Nation because they felt that they couldnt find a home for their talents.

When listening to Homeless Nation, you can here the sounds of the artist that inspire them. Such as the jazzy feel of music like A Tribe Called Quest, the heartfelt lyrics of Tupac, the meshing combination of styles of each individual artist like Wu-Tang Clan, and the subliminal messages delivered in the lyrics like Outkast and the Goodie Mob. Put it all together and you come up with the original sounds of Homeless Nation.

In closing, the West Coast next generation of Hip Hop is Homeless Nation. Their ambitious drive to succeed, radio friendly music and business sense will make them very successful. Once they hit the scene the consumer demand for their unique sound will prolong the longevity of the group. Homeless Nation is definitely every labels dream. 5 out of 5 stars Bangging.......1999-05-20

I've been listen to these guys for a while now. Everything i herd from homeless makes the head knod and the system bump!! I recommend Bum Endevours to any hip-hop listener, north, south, east, West or whatever. The lyrics are nice, the concepts are deep, and the production is tight. Much love homeless!!
