Oddly beautiful.......2007-02-16
A collection of Manson's tunes sung by Steve "Clem/Scramblehead" Grogan on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, with background vocals by Red (Sqeaky Fromme), Blue (Sandy Good), Gypsy, Ouisch and Gold (Nancy Pitman/Brenda). Some of the lyrics are kinda creepy, but the Manson girls actually have pleasant singing voices, and Clem weren't no slouch on the gee-tar, neither! Soothing folk music performed singalong-round-the-campfire style, with apocalyptic lyrics. Kind of a curio for Mansonphiles, but the tunes and the performances aren't half-bad.

I was curios and borrowed the cd from a friend of mine and was not disapointed.
The songs are pretty good and have a nice melody and good lyrics but the sound is not good. You can hear the woices of Sandra Good, Clem, Paul Watkins, Brooks Poston, Lyn Fromme, Gipsy
and old recordings with Charlie, some of the recordings were made during the Tate-Labianca trial.
I listened to this loud with my headphones and I got an eerie feeling like i was in the middle of a jam session or a party with Charlie's family, you can hear the girls screaming,chanting and talking in the background and everybody just having fun, including me............

Excellent.......2003-10-30
Those of you who haven't had a chance to hear Charlie's friends sing his music, you are missing out. This is even better than "Lie". Clem (Steve Grogan) sings lead male vocals, back up vocals are sung by: Red (Lynette Fromme), Blue (Sandy Good), Ouisch (Ruth Ann Moorehouse), Capistrano (aka Cappy- Cathy Gilles), Brenda (aka Gold, Nancy Pitman), Gypsy (Catherine Share), plus other members. Gypsy even plays violin. All songs are written by Charlie, but due to extenuating circumstances, he was not present when this was recorded. Alot of talent is on this CD. You won't be sorry for buying it!

This album is one of the Best to ever come out of the 209 area. Dont pass this up cause it's really rare. Every song is Bangin! Mel is the MAD SCIENTIST cause he can Flip different styles. Very Solid album and well worth the Money... If you Can Find it!
