Customer Reviews:
Great Album.......2007-06-21
From start to finish, an excellently executed album with dope production from DJ Paul and Juicy J. One of the best albums of 2006.
nice.......2007-04-05
I liked it. I'm a pat fan. It doesn't have funny tracks like the past albums, but thas prolly a reflection of his emotions after getting out of jail.
But it took me a long time to realize how great an entertainer Project at truly is. This album is angry. The streets will love it.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.......2007-03-07
If I could make this 10 stars I would. This is probably the greatest album from not only Pat but from: Project Pat, DJ Paul & Juicy J, and Hypnotize Minds altogether. This is a must buy without a doubt. THERE IS NOT ONE TRACK ON HERE YOU CANNOT BUMP. A CLASSIC FROM START TO FINISH!!! The guest appearances are hot, the beats are hot, the lyrics are fiyah, the entire album will leave a Project Pat fan dead in his tracks. And for yall Paul & J Outro fans with all the yellin and crazyiness like on Most Known Unknown...its got that too :D. Its a crime not to buy this rec. So go out there and cop Pat's best masterpiece yet after not puttin out a rec for 4 years!!! And lets just hope he keeps his promise with track 2 and doesnt go back to jail lol.
Greatness!!!!.......2007-03-07
This CD Is Outstanding From Start To Finish!!! I'm Now A Three Six Mafia Fan.
Comes bacc with some jams.........2007-02-10
Pat fell off for 4 years for having a firearm when pulled over and thus violating his parole. He spent almost all that time in the pen making this album. The first few traccs might be a little different for some people who are used to the Mista Dont Play era, but all around this is a definite banger and the second half of the CD is just as classic as Ghetty Green. Worth the purchase, and of course one of the only South rappers to keep it real. Looks like he'll replace Crunchy and Koop as the 4th man for Three 6 mafia.. before you know it they'll kick out lord infamous too. Who knows... but Pat's solos are never disappointing.

Customer Reviews:
DJ Drama does it again.......2006-03-22
I finished reading the two reviews before me and both of them are incorrect. First off, no this is not a Project Pat CD. His new CD "Crook by tha Book" will be released by recent academy award winning super producers DJ Paul and Juicy J later this year under his label "Hypnotize Minds". However this is a awsome mixtape CD released by DJ of the year DJ Drama under his ongoing "Gangsta Grillz" series. This CD is HOSTED by Project Pat and does include one new song that was released on his Mixtape Appeal CD entitled "Dont Turn Around", which is an awsome song! Project Pat also rips it on a few other songs where he raps with newcomer Black Jak on "Ridin Swervin" which is another classic. This CD features brand new material from artists such as Outkast, Biggie w/T.I. & Slim Thug, Lil' Jon & Bohagon, Jeezy & Juelz Santana, Lil' Wayne, Killer Mike, Smitty, Webbie, Juvenile, D4L, The Replacementz, Attitude, Boyz N Da Hood, Too Short, The Roots, Maceo, Fats, and much more. If you are not familiar with the Gangsta Grillz series I suggest you check out DJ Drama's website at WWW.GangstaGrillz.com. As I said before DJ Drama won best DJ of the year in 05' and has the most exclusive material on the market! The recent rise in DJ's has come only because of bootleggers getting material before CD's are actually released, so artists have been using the help of guys like DJ Drama to release to newest, rawest $hit on the streets. You can get this CD and alot others on the Gangsta Grillz website for cheap so check it out!!!

DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!!.......2006-03-15
This is not a project pat CD. There is only one project pat song on this CD and its a song that didn't make the final cut on layn da smack down, which most pat fans have already heard. This CD is a disgrace to 3-6 and project pat. They should sue the mix tape gods for having there names affilated with this crap. Don't get me wrong some song are good but they are already on the original atists CD. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT A PROJECT PAT CD HE IS ONLY ON ONE SONG.
Haha.......2006-02-12
Ok I have been exposed by the reviewer two above me. This is not a Project Pat CD, I was just promoting it for him. It is however the "welcome back" mix by DJ drama with Pat featured on a few really bangin songs. You should probably wait for Pat's solo CD, so I've fixed my review. But yeah, this is pretty dope anyways. It's tight mix. I'm a D-boy, I'm a D-boy... haha
Checc it out folks. Pat wouldn't "HOST" it like the guy said unless it was dope.

Great Intro To a Solja Cut Off In His Prime.......2007-07-05
What a loss when Fat Pat got killed in early 1998! This young cat from Houston, Texas had a charted album, his 1998 debut, Ghetto Dreams; he did not even live to see that dream come true. Now, if you have had the same bad luck getting his debut like I have had so far, this may be a great, temporary substitute. This is his greatest hits collection. Good news, this joint has most of the songs from Ghetto Dreams, save for 5 or so joints. There are many joints from Dead End Alliance's 1998 joint album, Screwed 4 Life, which Pat was a member of. Now, Fat Pat is a flossy rapper like many mainstream rappers, but he has a dope, engaging personality and is fun to listen to, and Wreckshop Records inhouse producers, esp. D-Wreck, lace Pat with some phat, funky beats; many bear a distinctive G-Funk influence with a southern twist. A real classic, "Reality" from Ghetto Dreams has a straight up west coast beat, and a woozy synth line similar to 1994's "Who Got The Gangsta S---" by Tha Dogg Pound, Swoop G, and Snoop from Murder Was The Case soundtrack, and a phat lowrider beat. Pat spits some knowledge and even sings the hook!!! Another classic, and I MEAN CLASSIC, is "Friends We Know" which touches on homies turnin' against you, and trusting others, is sick. The beat is absolutely awesome!!! The beat is laidback with multi-layered melodies giving off a sunny vibe, another classic from Ghetto Dreams! I'm not yet sure where "Jammin' Screw" is from, but the joint is relaxing and fun with a dope guitar-ridden beat, and a smooth bass line. I am relatively new to Fat Pat right now, but am definitely hooked!! A few Dead End joints here are the classics "Full Time Playa," a relaxed G-Funk joint, the serious contemplative joint "Better Place," and "Screwed For Life" among others. A nice sweet love joint is "If U Only Knew," a softer, and laidback joint 4 the hunnies with a beautiful, melodic beat from His Fat Pat and The Wreckshop Family album: Throwed In The Game, an album with a few songs featured here too. You get "Tops Drop," a phat lowrider joint from Ghetto Dreams. Simply put, get this joint; it is 2 discs of material from a great fallen soldier who coulda recognized his Ghetto Dreams if he hadn't been killed. R.I.P. Fat Pat. Hope u sittin' sideways in a Six-Fo in heaven loc.
One of The Best.......2004-07-07
This down south hit maker is arguably one of the best to be born and raised in Houston. His closest hometown lyrical competition as noted by insiders is the great Big Love, who fortunately survived 5 shots. God Bless Big Love and Rest In Peace Fat Pat. Houston's Finest...."Tops be droppin' down in Houston" Mr. Fat Pat lets his Ghetto Dreams be heard world wide.
All the good jams!.......2001-03-13
This album is a 2 cd set full of, well, Fat Pats greatest hits! If you already own all of his CD's I wouldn't pick it up, however for those without it's a definite buy. Afterall it's sold out almost everywhere you go so that should tell you something. Get it!

This is good decent album by pat. A pretty good debut for him, but in my opinion Homicidal Lifestyle Still stands above all GP albums. There some nice tracks like "Gangsta's Need Love 2" and "Im Tha Gangsta" which are respective tracks. But only die hard fans of GP should cop this. But it's still a old school classic.
Pull'n Shelves.......2005-01-18
Back in the golden days of EazyE and the 100's of NWA clones,we had an original: one-Gangsta Pat and his #1 Suspect was to be the ticket to the big time. Anyhow the cassettes, cds were all pulled off the shelves. Rumor had it that Atlantic records came under mass scrutiny for the explicit lyrics and album cover. Lack of marketing, and maybe the fact that he represented Memphis,Tenn also kept him from deserved fame.#1 Suspect is an excellent release. The most memorable track"Gangstas Need Love Too"should have been huge. Lastly,It is unfortunate that his other releases never matched the excellent quality of this one
