Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous for any Broadway-lover.......2007-01-30

Packs into 5 CD's a sampling of Broadway tunes from the 20's thru (almost) today, mostly from original cast recordings. Includes not just well-known hits, but also some lesser-known gems. Sound quality is first rate, booklet is informative too. Have given this as a gift to several friends with rave reviews.

5 out of 5 stars Top Shelf.......2007-01-04

This is THE definitive collection of Broadway hits. I have other collections, and none of them measure up. A great deal of care was obviously taken in compiling and presenting this box set. It covers a lot of ground, starting with some long-forgotten but still very enjoyable hits from the days of yore, and finishing with present-day favorites. To the best of my knowledge, the recordings are by those who made them famous. You won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars TERRIFIC CD'S.......2006-03-23

THESE BROADWAY MUSICALS CD'S ARE A BROADWAY LOVERS DREAM. WITH EACH SONG, MEMORIES COME FLOODING BACK. BOTH THE FAMILIAR AND THE FORGOTTEN SONGS ARE A TRUE LISTENING PLEASURE. IF YOU LIKE BROADWAY, YOU'LL LOVE THIS SET.

5 out of 5 stars Great Collection of Broadways greatest Songs .......2005-06-14

This Collection was perfectly made it has almost all the most famous Broadway songs on this 5 cd set. The Music is great and has Broadways greatest treasures like "Memory""People""With One Look""Give my regards Too Broadway" just to name a few of this numerous cd set with over 100 songs. This is a great buy if you like musicals or The music of Broadway

5 out of 5 stars Great Compilation!.......2005-01-17

If you are a fan of the Broadway Musicals, this is a collection that you should purchase. Since I got the 5 disc set I've enjoyed listening to it. The majority of the songs are done by the original singers. The collection is priceless considering that you will have over 100 songs from popular musicals since the beginning of Broadway

Beg For Mercy

Manufacturer: G-Unit / Interscope Records
ProductGroup: Music
Binding: Audio CD
ASIN: B0007SN7FU

Product Description

This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. G-Unit: 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo. Producers include: Denaun Porter, DJ Twinz, Dr. Dre, Hi-Tek, Dirty Swift. Queens rapper 50 Cent ascended to the pinnacle of the hip-hop world in 2003, and the latter part of the year saw his crew, G-Unit, drop by with their own ubiquitous single "Stunt 101" and debut record, BEG FOR MERCY. Far from an entourage cashing in on one member's immediate success, the success of both 50 Cent and G-Unit is more of a chicken-and-egg situation. Since 1999, G-Unit's mixtape moments have been among the most sought after on the streets, helping to pump up 50 Cent's status until he exploded onto the mainstream. Unsurprisingly, BEG FOR MERCY delivers a blistering attack of street rap that survives on its own merits. While 50 Cent opens the show on "Poppin' Them Thangs," he quickly blends into the mix, as G-Unit features two other more-than-able lyricists equal to the task and well-versed in trading off with the wildly talented 50. Lloyd Banks brings an arrogant strut that plays off Buck's subtle yet angry drawl. Together and separately, they both play off 50's familiar laid back style. The most intriguing moment on BEG FOR MERCY is the torn "Footprints," which inserts a renowned religious poem into the middle of the gangster world, a fitting summation of the unique world view of G-Unit

4 out of 5 stars Great Album This Is What Put G-unit On The Rap Game Map.......2005-09-08

First Off beg for mercy is a great album , it was a bringin out party for 50 , Bank$ and Buck who later had very succesful albums , this album brings you some hott tracks as stunt 101 , poppin them thangs , smile , wanna get to know ya and my personal favorite g-unit song to date "My Buddy" , if you are a true g-unit fan or even hip hop fan you will like this album

1 out of 5 stars The Album that is still truly terrible from the start.......2005-02-24

I Used to think nelly's bad, but he's kid n play compare to thid disastrous and mean-spirited and utterly trashy group called G-Unit and this album Beg for Mercy is complete disasterzone, I Thought every single song is truly horrible, Stunt 101 is a rip-off of cash money and everything else about this album is really absolutely worthless, And for some people who compared this trash to NWA/Or better than them Should be ashamed of themselves, this group is the epitome and ground zero of what's everything bad about hip hop and you fans should be ashamed of yourselves for calling this a good group.

This is not only the worst hip hop album I've ever seen, but also the lead contender for the worst album of this decade.

G-Unit should be banned from every appearing in rap and hip hop.

A Truly Big Thumbs Down for Beg for Mercy.

3 out of 5 stars pretty good track.......2006-07-09

i liked how they used Marvin Gaye's "Come live with me,Angel". Joe is good on hooks.Joe alot of the time is more remembered for doing hooks on other people's stuff than his own albums on a whole. I ain't big on G-unit at all,but this one track is used pretty well.

    3 out of 5 stars alright.......2004-06-16

g-unit's singles seem to only be worried about the consumer and by the looks of these reviews they have failed on this one...song is ok, but the rest of G-Unit's Beg For Mercy brings the heat...personally, invest in some of their mixtapes if you wanna see real talent. lloyd banks is on next son.

1 out of 5 stars Wanna get to Know you.......2004-05-26

I Get to know you 50 cent, you and your stupid group
sucks so badly, even this single sucks badly
thank goodness I Never into the tricks of the greedy
    shady/aftermath garbage.

4 out of 5 stars Missed top10, should be on it.......2004-05-07

Good Rap with very soulfull and a little bit jazzy track.
Made it to 15th place at the Billboard Charts, has deserved
better from my point of View.

I have not heard anything of 50 cent so far and from the
look of him and all that cheap watches merchandizing, I tough
it couldn't be a real value behind any of his tracks, but
    this one is really good.

    1 out of 5 stars so bad!.......2004-04-24

This group sucks this single sucks and 50 cent sucks!
Why can I say good things 'bout them? 'cause they sucks, I can't say any good things about this weak crew (may be the worst and the baddest).
A question, where is the 0 stars rating in thi website for this type of cd (weak)?
