Fresh Names, Nice Tracks...I Rate a Strong B+.......1999-04-03
I understand that this is the first project put out by Mekah West Entertainment. I have heard material from other labels that have been around for a long time that have not done as well. Mekah West managed to get a lot of new names on this compilation as well as some rap vets who we haven't heard on any other comp before. The problem with most compilations that come out of the Bay is that they use the same Artists and Producers and it all sounds pretty much the same. Somethin' Majah is an exception. I love the CD!
