I'm confused, this is more like country. the guy's got a nice voice but he's not a rapper. which in his case, is probably a good thing. I think he has some nice songs worth listening to! very unique style, just definitely not rap. nothing like it.

I have been listening to rap for along time. Since 1978 to be exact. I have seen great rappers come and go, especially white ones. I remember seeing Everlast for the first time in the late 80's when he was down with Ice T's Syndicate. Unfortunately, due to time perception - most are saying that Eminem is the best white rapper by far. I think these critics have not went back and listened to Everlasts lyrics and style. The White Boys, Snow, V Ice, Beasties, on and on - simply do not have the depth, strength and intellect that Everlast contains. He is by far, the greatest white recorded rapper up to this point in history. He is the bar to which almost all should be measured.

Rock/R&B/Rap/Soul/Blues -- All in one?.......2006-06-09

This guy is very talented. I really like how he integrates soul with blues with rap, etc. I initially bought the album for White Trash and Blinded, but quickly found out the rest of the songs are also extremely good. One major criteria that I have for a really good album is how often it goes in the CD player. This one goes in a lot! I didn't even think that I would ever listen to Rap.

I had only heard the popular Everlast song. I found White Trash Beautiful by accident. It is now in my top 10 all time favorite CD.

A Must Have For All Music Fans!!.......2006-04-09

If you are casual Everlast fan or a longtime fan, this album is a must-have. If you liked Whitey Ford Sings The Blues, then you will definately like this album. It is much improved from Eat At Whitey's. Being a fan of his music from the Rhyme Syndicate days, I have enough knowledge of his work to give an objective opinion. When "Whitey Ford" came out I was a little suprised, but pleasantly. I felt "Eat At Whitey's" was lacking, but I supported it. "White Trash Beautiful" is much better than I expected. The production (most of it is produced by Eric himself) and the songwriting are excellent. There are more rhyming tracks on this one than the last, which are blazing. The singing tracks are all solid, with some incredible stand-outs, which is saying alot coming from an avid hip-hop / intermediate rock fan. There are no intro's/outro's/skits/filler music/fast-forward material. It is all music, well worth the money. Definately one of the best albums (any category) to come out this year thus far. Pick it up!!

This is a fantastic set of music from Everlast. However, it is not multichannel SACD, but Stereo SACD. I am disappointed, and hope I keep someone else from the same.

A true work of art. Not a bad cut on the entire album, and ain't that a rare and wonderful thing!! I love the way this artist blends various types of music(soul, blues, rap, rock, etc.) into a unique mix. Destined to be a classic in my collection, at least, and my taste is typically hard core R&R. Not a rap fan, I bought this album because I liked the cover tune when I heard it on the radio. Now, I can't get enough of this music and have purchased more of Everlast. If you don't get the urge to move when you hear some of these songs, better have someone check your pulse, quick!!

Beautiful Music.......2004-10-14

This is a beautiful album. The lyrics and music is moving. It takes a great artist to bear their soul and release personal lyrics.

Not to mention that it is really great to hear an album that is not disrespectful or downgrading to others. I believe this says a lot about the artist and the path they are on.

Simply a pleasure to listen to.

I would have liked to review the White Trash Beautiful release but I received a Metallica CD inside the White Trash Beautiful SACD case. WTF. And Amazon would not credit my account when I returned it. Probably because the case was opened. Duh.
