Mission control presents prehistiric sounds featuring Mood is unduobtebly the most looked over album of 2000. It is one of my favorite albums put out in the last few years and features some of the tightest lyrisists to ever to grasp a microphone. The artists on this albulm hail from this midwest region of the U.S. Mostly from the Ohio area but they don't sound like Bone Thugs n Harmony. The Mission control camp spits real conscious gems on tracks produced by some great up and coming producers. If you are a Mood fan like me and enjoyed 1997's debut hard to find (Doom) you will be familiar with alot of the production and lyrisists. Mood consists of Main Flow, Donte, and Jahson handles the production skills. Mood is featured on a handful of tracks and Jahson produces alot of the joints on this album Some of the other tight poets on the album are Crunch Extraordinaire, Lone Catalysts, King Solomon, Five Deez, Zerah, Rubix, to name a few. Talib Kweli drops a couple of tracks with partner Hi Tek from Reflection Eternal. HiTek rocks the boards on only a few tracks but they are phenomenol. This album is just a great album and should not be slept on by true hip hop heads. Check out tracks wanna battle, OH-10, Unconscious mc's, empty pages, and millionaires. Also check out these other awesome albums Five Deez (Koolmotor) and Crunch Extraordinaire's solo outing (Broken Anglish) featuring Talib Kweli and Mood. Mission Control Presents Prehistoric sounds feat Mood is hip hop at It's best. The lyrics are tight and provide knowledge. The production is ill also. If you liked Mood Doom You will like this one. Main Flow and Company kick ill consious verses on the mic. Also Talib Kweli comes in and lays down some more jewels for your brain. Over all a ill album and as you waiting for the next Mood album.
