REAL HIP-HOP.......2005-05-13
If you like real Hip-Hop you will like this Vanilla Ice is back and back in the day he sucked ,but now he is incredible the rhymes are all good his bust songs are (Hip Hop Rules, Tha Weed Song and Natural Born Killas) my favorite track is Natural Born Killas Featuring the Insane Clown Posse Vanilla Ice has redeemed himself with that one.
Best Ice Album.......2005-05-11
Man, What Can I say. This Album is off the Hook. I am all for Ice. I am a fan who likes Ice for who he is now. F The Media. Ice ain't No Puppet!! He is who he is and this album rocks, he does not need a VH1 makeover to sing a song. True to the game. Pick it up. Looking forward to Platinum Underground later this summer, YEP YEP. As For Hitman, check 'em out in his new band - Opiate For The Masses. In Stores Now. Rocks, Just Picked it up Last week.
Peace!
V-ICE iz UNBREAKABLE.......2005-05-09
I Bought this album a week after watching remaking vanilla ice on VH1. WTF took me so long to discover this album. I knew about the album 4 a while but i had only heard insane Killas and unbreakable when i went to pick up the album i didn't even listen 2 tha clips i just bought it and i poped it in my stereo. when i heard the begening riffs of Nothing is real i instantly was hooked
Bi-Polar is a great cd best tracks are all of skabz,Hip Hop Rules,O.K.S.,Hot Sex,Unbreakable,Insane Killas & Tha Weed Song
Great CD.......2005-05-01
Vanilla Ice is a great artist. He is forever in the shadow of his Ice Ice Baby hit. Everybody liked that one didn't they? Well now why is everybody hating on him? I say if you have not heard any of his new material give it a shot. He is actually really talanted. His beats are tight and he produced, wrote and mixed the entire album by himself. If you want to get a look at a personal side of the ice man check out VH1's Remaking Vanilla Ice. It comes on May 1st. They are working to completly remake him and give him a new sound. Should be pretty good. His new album comes out in summer 2005. I guarantee you will be hearing him on the radio soon! But check out Bi-Polar and Hot sex. You will like it.
Best CD since To the Extreme.......2005-02-19
Whoever said Vanilla Ice can't sing is a baby retard, this guy is the t_I_ltS (if you know what I'm saying!). This guy puts the G to the O to the B to the D to the E dawg!! He's such an inspiration! Not every white suburban kid guy can make music about "...poppin' hoods in ma back seat hoodsa." Granted, Vanilla Ice never said that in any of his songs, but he told me it's going to be on his next album, when I spoke to him at Target and Best Buy, where he was buying out the entire supply of his CDs. He told me he was "...helping to spark fan interest," but a cashier at the store told me he does the same thing every week in an effort to make it appear as if his CDs are celling, so he can keep getting record deals.
Poor Ice. :(
WAIT LET ME BE SERIOUS!
Okay I'm really going to be serious here for a minute...I sorta like this album. The remix of Ice Ice Baby as heavy metal is great. I don't like Nine Inch Nails for the simple reason that they're pretentious and the vocals are drowned out by mechanical/bizarre sounds that I have no interest in.
Vanilla (yes, I know this makes me sound crazy, but I'm serious) is actually quite good at heavy metal. He's a heckuva lot better than Fred Durst, even if he's just as immature and obnoxious.
Worth listening to -- you'll have a few laughs and might be surprised to find yourself enjoying one or two tracks along the way.

Nice.......2004-06-28
Most guitarists have failed where Richie has succeeded (attempting the blues), he has a feel for blues that even some blue only players lack. There's plenty of tech heads that fullfill my needs so I don't miss all the leads, I'm so glad Richie uses his talent in this way. His vocal debut was a shock and surprise, this is another one (only in a good way this time). You'll be shocked that this is Richie again making his best vocal album that focuses on some serious blues for old and new fans.
Absolutely spectacular.......2004-03-19
One of the best blues albums ever produced! This CD is the work of a true bluesman, with a lot of soul and emotion. It's hard to find another guitar player who shifted so radically his style as Richie did. In case you don't know, Richie was the 80's shredder prototype: hyper-speed-guitar-boring-licks, a lot of technique, but no feel whatsoever. The peak of his uncoolness was perhaps his work in the Poison, one of those cheesy hair bands from the 80's weird musical scene. This is definitely in Richie's past, and in this album he mingles great technique, true blues inspiration, and an awesome punchy guitar tone. His version of Tobbaco Road is just breathtaking. Guitar lovers around the world, this album is a must have. Yeah, the blues is allright!!
A little bit of everything.......2001-08-29
I find this cd to be thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. Richie's voice suits each song perfectly, as does his understated guitar playing. That's not to say he's not proficient because he certainly lays down some fantastic solos and licks, they're just all put in the right places. While this is not a straight-out blues cd, there's enough swagger and sweat to suffice. "Gone Tomorrow Blues", "Broken Man Blues" and "From Four Till Late" definetly keep the faith. "No Kind of Hero" is a great heart-felt song, and the covers of "Tobacco Road" and "The Thrill is Gone" are great too. I also love his version of "They're Red Hot". Robert Johnson would be proud! All in all, this is an excellent offering by a singer/guitarist who has definetly found a great blues/rock niche. I hope that he continues in this vain!
AFTER A 15 YEAR SEARCH..................2001-08-04
I've found a guitarist that I am happy with !! I am an ex prof guitarist that enjoys SRV, Hendrix, steve Vai, Satch, Benson, Golub in fact most of the favourites (and some not so famous) in most Genres.. I have a long association with blues, Hard rock and Jazz have been looking for a technical Guitarist with Ultimate (soulful)Feel for years. Kotzen is 97.5% there !! His guitar skill is excellent, his feel is special but I feel he has stepped away from his potential in his more commercial albums... However his voice is incredible and can make a song all on its own.. you have to hear "tobacco road" on this album to see where Kotzen wipes the floor with an old favourite of mine (Dave lee Roth).
In my opinion this album is Kotzens real development in blues which he accomplishes with ease.. It is an excellent album but I am still left wanting.. You get the feeling he has dipped his toe rather than plunged in !!
HOWEVER As a result of this (and something to say) I have bought 5 of his titles but this is the greatest... To any rock guitarist that indulges in blues BUY IT.. to any Musician interested in twisting original scores BUY IT and to anyone interested in that Vocalist that tingles your spine BUY IT.. The man is gifted as a musician and as a singer... Now I want Bi polar 2
Richie does it once more!.......2000-03-23
This is probably one of Richie's best albums. I always wanted to hear Richie playing the blues and here it is.The vocals are amzaing as always, the guitar playing is beautiful and the compositions are out of this world.Songs like "no kinda hero","The thrill is gone" cover and "A step away" just show how good this guy is. A must for any Richie Kotzen fan and a very good album for any blues lover.

Customer Reviews:
A journey into the depths of rock 'n' roll.......2003-09-29
Don't let the name confuse you - New York City's The Last Show are coming to town, but it's not a finale. In fact, The Last Show is only beginning. With their debut EP, the cleverly titled sleEP, just released, the band is touring extensively to promote their new material.
SleEP is a four-song journey into the depths of rock 'n' roll's underbelly. With heavily distorted guitars and grinding, dirge-like rhythms, the minimalist three-piece is hoping to make their mark in the current garage-rock revival. The liner notes read "This is The Last Show, now Sleep..." but there won't be any dosing at this gig at Tulagi.
Take A Long Hard Look Inward.......2003-09-29
East Coast coeds The Last Show deliver textured, shag-shaking guitar rock that's as totally without airs as it is good. For their debut EP, "Sleep" (Solidman, Inc.), the members of the N.Y.C. trio take a long hard look inward, at the deep scars left behind by loves that went nowhere, by bitter disappointments and missed opportunities, and pour that dark gray emotional funk into their music. A downer? Not at all. It seems what's allowed them to survive the many lows and comparatively fewer highs along the way is their ability to look back and laugh, or at least smirk, about it. Big sounding and totally mesmerizing, The Last Show is sensitive man's indie. Read more at www.thelastshow.net.
