I only have the tape to remember butman this is a tight album I bet you guys don't remember Three x Dope I was listing to that today lol...

I've given this 4 stars...........2005-11-23

mainly because the first 3 tunes to this CD are FIRING.'Do the Right Thing','Pump It Hottie,'We Rock the Mic Right, are tunes any self repecting New Jack Swinger would need in their collection. The summer of 1989, was filled with 'Do The Right Thing, as the Redhead one kicks his lyrics on the positive tip.'Pump It Hottie', about females going for theres on the dance floor. 'We rock the mic' is a laid back bragging-rap, which flows along side Reds lyrics.

The rest flows along nice, but after these three choice cuts,nothing comes close.

I'd get this just to hear do the right thing which should have been on spike lee's soundtrack around that time song had a positive message and yeah pump it hottie I requested that song jusat to see this girl dance back in 89.

In March 2001, the town of Woodstock passed on the keys to the City to Louisiana Red. This CD commemorates this historic event. Surrounded by many capable artists including Jimmy Vivino on guitar, David Maxwell on organ and a horn section arranged and directed by Vivino, Red puts out a CD that is both soulful and bluesy. All of the tracks were written by Red and are credited to his birth name "Iverson Minter". A delightful disc, heavily rhythmic at times but always easy listening.
