Great, something similar never existed.......2006-05-10
Right now, at this moment, I'm listening to ''Never wanna be without you'' and thinking about how I felt when I first saw that love scene in the desert... The years have passed, but I still feel butterflies in my stomach when I hear this song. This soundtrack is great, the choice of guest-artists is phenomenal. Rozalla makes you feel like you're riding on the wind, just like Daisy Dee with ''Crazy'', the song which, unfortunately, can't be found on this disc. There is another song missing, I think it's preformed by ''Black box'' - we only hear a couple of first chords and the word ''Oww''. I hope that someday someone will honour all the fans of this movie with ''Cool as Ice''DVD. Until that day lightens up my life, I'll play ''Never wanna be without you'' again...and remember...
thats the best movie ever !!.......2006-04-24

i saw this movie when i was in like 3rd grade, older brother was a big vanilla ice fan back in the day, this is the best movie & soudtrack ever!!!! im 24, and i still love it! i know what song the person was talking about where she found her ring in the fishbowl, and i wish i knew the name as well, another awesome song that isnt on the soundtrack is called "crazy" by daisy dee. download if on limewire or something equivalent if you can, it rocks!if anyone has this movie on dvd to sell, please email me!
i have the cassette.......2005-10-27
this is one of the best soundtracks ever but its missing one song dint know the title i am a serious music cillector music is me and i happen to coma across the cassette brand new my favorite song everybody get lose i would love to see vanilla ice in public cant believe its been fifteen years so if anyboby wants a copy ley me know
Good but missing a song I really liked from movie.......2003-07-08
I happened to purchase this on cassette by luck before it was too hard to find. Rating reasons: I really liked it but the title track wasn't a favorite of mine. Also, I gave it 4 stars because of the fact that it's missing one of the nicest songs from the movie. It's when Katherine finds her ring in her goldfish bowl and she's just thinking. I'd love to know the title of the song and I thought it should have been included in soundtrack. I would like this now in CD format so it will last longer. I do recommend it and the movie too. (I'm not really a Vanilla Ice fan but I liked this movie/music combo!)

Album Description
LTM are proud to present Cool As Ice, a compilation of stone classic old school 80's electro & dance cuts produced by Be Music, the tag used by all four members of New Order. Largely produced between 1983 & 1984 for release on Factory Records & Factory Benelux. This collection features tracks co-produced by Be Music (Bernard Sumner) & DoJo (Donald Johnson, of A Certain Ratio). 'Nyam Nyam' & the 'Be Music Theme' were produced by Peter Hook, & Life & Thick Pigeon by Steve Morris & Gillian Gilbert. Several of these tracks, including 'Love Tempo', 'Looking From a Hilltop' & 'Cool As Ice' remain influential club classics, & have been extensively sampled & bootlegged. Several years before the great house explosion, with their own Hacienda club still empty every single night, yet way (too far?) ahead of their time, four guys & a girl from Manchester produced a whole bunch of pure sonic magic, which made waves worldwide.

Fairly Good 80s Compilation of Minor Club Hits.......2003-11-22
This CD compiles 12" dance singles released by the Factory label and its subsidiaries between 1983 and 1985. All of these songs were extremely well produced by individual members of New Order sometimes working in conjunction with Donald Johnson of A Certain Ratio.
Overall, this collection is something of a front-loaded, mixed bag. About half of these songs really deserved to go to the top of the charts. "Can't Afford To Let You Go," which samples Scott Walker's "Time Operator," is just amazing. There's a superlative mix of Section 25's classic "View From a Hilltop." I also really like Marcel King's soulful "Reach For Love." And finally, I think Quando Quango's "Atom Rock", which features Johnny Marr on guitar, may be the best dance track since "Blue Monday."
Unfortunately, the remaining songs on this album are pleasant enough but basically forgettable. It's exciting to discover a compilation of eighties dance music made up of mainly unfamiliar songs, but some of these tunes slipped into obscurity for good reason.
