Editorial Reviews
Product Description
The Jumbonics Demo Landed on the A&r Desk at Tru Thoughts with Just their Name and a Picture of a Cat on It. We Liked it Immediately and When We Got in Touch, Discovered it was None Other Than Our Friends from Scratch, Rob Mac and Matt Smooth. They Had Decided that They Did Not Want the Fact that We Knew them to Influence Our Opinion on the Music and their Demo Consequently Led to the Inclusion of their Music on the Tru Thoughts Compilation Album, Shapes Yellow. The Duo's Debut EP Release, 'the Jumbonics EP' Likewise Received a Huge Amount of Positive Feedback and from this it was Felt that the Music Should Be Moved Into an Album Project, Resulting in the Leftfield Dancefloor Tomfoolery that is the 'super-baxophone' Album.
