Customer Reviews:
Make way for Sacramento's newest rising star!.......2005-09-12
Like many others, the first time I heard T-Nutty was on the last song on X-Raided's album "Vengeance is mine", that was released in 2000. Three years passed and we finally got the young rappers's debut album. Let me tell you something - after a long long wait, there's finally NEW talent coming out of Sacramento and blowing up. C-Bo, X-Raided, Brotha Lynch are the pioneers, the legends, with Luni Coleone and The Mobb Figgaz following their lead, but other than that there wasn't anyone else to really make an impression, be special and unique. Untill T-Nutty landed. The guy is different in many ways. The most unique thing about him is his flow. His flow is as fast as all those rappers from the MidWest (although it might not always be as perfect as Twista or Krayzie Bone's flow), yet he's from the Garden Block (the same hood as Bo Loc and BLH). That makes T-Nutty, the West Coast's fasterst rapper, period. Lyrically he's not dissapointing either, although the thing that stands up most is his untouchable flow! (Especially as displayed on songs like "Battle Rap" or "Young Nutt Factor"). Finally, something fresh, new coming out of the Bay Area. T-Nutty's all about street gangsta sh*#, hustlin', killin', representing the crips (GBC). On some songs, T-Nutty gets into other issues, such as his daughters (My Babies), or street life getting people killed (Deadly Game). There are some great guest appearences on the album, such as : Snoop Dogg (I have no idea how he came up on a Sactown underground album, probably the Crip affiliation), AP9 (on one of the best songs of the album!), Keak Tha Sneak, Messy Marv, Hollow Tip and a few others. While the rapping is the album's strongest point, on a few moments the production is a hit and miss. More than half of the album has AWESOME beats, but there are a few songs where the beats sound kind of... uninspired, and even T-Nutty can't save the song. Another thing is - that with a rapper with such a fast flow as T-Nutty, you gotta give him the beats that fit (and it's not easy)! On some songs, the producers failed to do that, and it's a shame. Anyway, the bottom line is that "Last of The Flo Heakinz" is a GREAT album, from a new talent coming out of Garden Block, Sacramento. It lets us hear something NEW, raw and uncut. Don't forget, this was T-Nutty's first album, so things will get EVEN better!... On this one, he already established himself as the West Coast's fastest rapper.
Best of the Best.......2005-04-11
This is a no brainer 5 star review. I am a 26 year white dude from portland, OR. This is the best cd i have heard, hands down in a very long time. It is not often you get quality sound you can listen to through and through but t-nutty delivers. In the world of bootlegging and file sharing, this is the one artist I will
THIS CD IS OFF THE HOOK!!!!!!! SACRAMENTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2005-02-02
T-Nutty to me is the best rapper in the Sacramento area right now. I first heard him on X-Raided's CD the Sac-A-Indo Project where T-Nutty comes tight. His flows are fast his beats are off the hook. What more can you ask from him? He is way better than Twista. This CD has a little dark side to it especially Last of the Floheecanz. It is something different from other rappers. If u don't have this Cd go and get it!!!! What r u waiting 4? Go and get his new CD that came out as well it's off the hook. Look out 4 his new CD that should be out soon called The Nutt Factor Project with all the Flowheecanz in it(Young Bop, Sav Sicc, Bleezo, and Lady Menace)
its a nutty nite.......2003-08-13
