Editorial Reviews
About the Artist
The all Latino crew of Poetic Vandals is made up of ten core members and six "rookies." The core members have all featured on various releases throughout the state of Texas while the "rookies" are making their official debut on this album. They are all from San Antonio, TX and range between the ages of 18-24. Building a name for themselves by performing at numerous car shows, concerts, and venues, the Poetic Vandals are building a following in all major regions of Texas and will soon be including many of its surrounding states as well. The project was put together by one of the group's members, J-Roc who was responsible for the beats, recording, and mixing. He is also putting the finishing touches on the group's second CD, "On Top of Thangs". The main priority of these two albums is to set the stage for the first three solo releases off of Payway Records. J-Roc, Qwik Deville, and Teflon all have strong releases set to drop for the label.

Product Description
Hailing from San Antonio, TX, the Poetic Vandals are sure to take everyone by surprise and put their respective city on the music industry map. The style of the album mixes catchy hooks, sharply delivered rhymes, over bouncy southern-flavored tracks that impress anybody that has the opportunity to hear this CD. Ranging from laid-back, playa themed tracks like, "Just Some Playaz" to all out club bangers like the CD's lead single, "My Boyz", it proves to have the hit-potential of a major label release. Another of the groups songs, "San Antone" has grown into an underground hit and quickly become the rap anthem for San Antonio. If you are a fan of the fast rap genre such as the likes of Twista, Do-or-Die, T-Rock, Crucial Conflict, or Bone Thugs and Harmony, you will not be disappointed when you hear the all Latino(and one Latina) Poetic Vandals spit continuous heat on every track of "Tha Quickest Tongues Down South". After you've heard it, you'll no doubt agree that it isn't a question of whether or not this group has what it takes, but why is it that they haven't been picked up by a major yet.
