In addition to composing and producing the choral and orchestral score, Kyd penned several acoustic and electronica-fused music tracks for the latest Hitman score. In short, the music style for Hitman: Blood Money is epic orchestral, electronic and a fusion of both.

Wow!.......2007-04-04

Wow! This score is awesome. The first song starts the CD off with frantic chanting, it sounds kind of like male vs. female, meaning men are saying stuff in a weird language and women are saying stuff too, only they both are saying different things and it blends in with one another. It has a cool sound. The rest of the CD gets better and better, including 47 Attacks, Main Titles, and Rocky Mountains. This is a must buy, oh, I'm really 16. Its a long story. Anyways, look into this one and also Hitman: Contracts, which is also quite good.

First off, I'm sure you know by reading the other reviews, it's indeed disappointing that Ave Maria is not on the soundtrack. However, the rest of the in-game music save for the opera in the 2nd mission (since it's not an original piece), all of the tracks Jesper Kyd composed are included and aren't interrupted or faded into other tracks like in the game, making it a pleasant listen. I strongly disagree that it's too electronic. Most, except for a few tracks (which are, themselves, also quite beautiful), are all strings and wind with an eerie ambience and ghostly choir. Killing to this music in game is chilling and morbidly sensual.

However, this album isn't just for people who played the video game and enjoyed the music - it's an album for people who enjoy having a story told to them with musical instruments. You feel like something is foreboding, you feel like you're being chased, and ultimately, you feel like you're dancing on the line between life and death. If only more movie soundtracks were this epic!

Best Game music score ever!.......2006-09-29

Jesper Kyd does it again. In a world of the same breeds same, like breeds like, he breathes fresh air into the game experience. Not only does his music capture the feeling of Agent 47 and his adventures while in game play, but while listening to this soundtrack you can be imediatley whisked in your minds eye to your own game play and to how you experienced it. Jesper Kyd is the only game composer that can be called truely unique. The classical, electronic, and choral blending makes for a wonderful listen. Pick this up see and for yourself.

Descent Soundtrack, Great Game.......2006-07-19

As far as video game OSTs go, this one is pretty good. But the soundtrack is a bit too electronic and that doesn't really fit with the noir mood of the hitman series. I'm a big fan of Franz Shubert's 'Ave Maria' and was pleasantly suprised to find it in the opening sequence. There should be more of this kind of music on the CD.

Dark, Ambient, Moody.......2005-12-06

This soundtrack is masterfully written, reminiscent almost of Mahler with some interesting electronics and ambient styling mixed in. There are a few tracks that are weaker than others, mainly the Russian themes...but there's not a single track without something interesting to offer.

The inclusion of two tracks from the first game is well-conceived, and satisfying. It's nice to feel the thematic/emotional progression from the first, while still being able to clearly see that the strengths from the first soundtrack were all improved on and featured in different ways here. There's no lyrics other than in the first song, which sounds very appropriate and authentic.

Overall, a fantastic score that sucks you in from the first track. Individual tracks all have something interesting to offer, even if you've listened to the CD many times. This soundtrack is worth having in any collection; it's far better than many big-budget movies have been able to accomplish.

Awesome soundtrack.......2005-08-23

This is one of the best game soundtracks that I've ever heard. Each track is rich and beautifully dark.. in my opinion perfect for driving around at night. I usually don't enjoy music of this genre, but the darkness and dynamics of this album has placed it among my favorites. You don't need to be a fan of the game to appreciate this album, but it was my experience with the game that drew me to it.

Thought provoking Tracks.......2005-08-10

If you are in the mood to contemplate existential dilemma, then this CD will give you an ambience for contemplation. Some really unique compositions and the sounds have some inspiring qualities. If you are considering buying this CD, i would definitely suggest you do . . . a few of the tracks are ideal for thought . . .

Beautifully Dark.......2005-03-08

If you have ever wanted a CD that puts you into a relaxed and thoughtful state of mind this is it. While playing the game I was more attracted to the soundtrack than the game, not because the game was bad, but because this is bar none the best soundtrack I have ever heard. The rich layers of this music set a dark and ambient mood that over shadows the game itself, but remains within the context of the game. If you like something dark and unique but beautiful at the same time, then I highly recommend this album.

High quality orchestral score!.......2004-07-03

All the Hitman games have been scored wonderfully by Jesper Kyd.

I noted, when playing this game, that Kyd went for more of an ambient feeling vs. the more thematic material he seemed to favor in part two. He still makes excellent use of orchestral color whilst shooting for an even darker, more moodier setting.

This is certainly an excellent orchestral score, and very easily better than most movie scores these days, and should not be overlooked.

Pretty Good.......2006-07-29

This was a very unique item. Fans of the series will enjoy it. At times some of the tracks seem out of place when out of the game, but that's more than made up for by the many powerful and classic tracks that these CD's have. The first CD is more techno-inspired while the second is more operatic. It's good music to do push-ups to or to drive to. Especially the first track of the first CD.

this album is just as tight as his other. Shoestring is featured on 2 songs, which says it all. this is definately a must have for Dayton Family fans.

in my opinion jake the flake's albums are the best of flint. on out to get rich he proves that. the two tracks with shoestring are tight. then you got the 'streets' remix that is just so smooth it goes down better than alize. drug dealer is another tight track. if your a fan of flint style or good undergound rap, pick this up.

This cd would have been a good come back if it wasnt for the out dated @$$ shakin music and the "whodahellandwhy" Step Daddy song. I mean, all I can ask is why. Sammy Sam is a undaground legend in ATL. This attempt at being half commercial just aint Sam and everybody in da city just wanna kno why. Hope its jus a phase.
