Product Description
This 23 year old defies classification, he raps, he sings, he makes beats and he performs with style and professional execution. He likes to call his sound "rap/soul". Born and raised in Albany GA, he is the real deal. This 14 track album is full of phat tracks and engaging hooks with rhymes so full of grease that you will be ready for a second helping.

Album Description

When the tracks from their 4-song EP were posted online, the band quickly became one of the most popular artists on the music site purevolume.com, and over 400,000 people were listening to them in a matter of months. They've since toured with Bayside, My American Heart, The Start, and Cartel, as well as played shows with Hawthorne Heights, Matchbook Romance, The Early November, and Armor For Sleep. This is their debut full-length and will hopefully make the cynics believe that young bands have something to say.

5 out of 5 stars Good stuff.......2006-08-09

Pretty awesome cd...great mix of songs types.. kinda sound like a whole bunch of other familiar bands songs but still good and new..

1 out of 5 stars Taking Back Sunday, only worse.......2006-07-18

First off, MTV owes me my 10 bucks back for even implying that Just Surrender sound the least bit like the wonderful and talented Fall Out Boy. They don't. When I first heard ITSCT, I thought I was listening to Taking Back Sunday B-sides post-tell all your friends, and I don't even like TBS. Raspy, crude vocals and generic breakdowns are garbage, yet everyone trys to do em' anyway. I took this suckfest of a cd and threw it from my car after just three songs, so unless you like bad imitations of TBS and MCR, stay clear of JS. It's no wonder these guys never took off.

5 out of 5 stars Marvellously done.......2006-07-13

Let me tell you guys right now that Just Surrender is good listening. I first heard them on idobi radio on itunes. Forgotten not Forgiven is such an excellent song, and there is no band that has ever put otu a similar song. Nowadays slit your wrist self infliction depressed songs are the thing. Theres none of that in Just Surrender. Alot of sad and romantic songs but it's all good in their own distinct way. Plus the lead singers voice sounds great like Rookie of the Year and we also have good guitar to back it up.

5 out of 5 stars you were the chosen one...............2005-11-29

EMO. no screaming but scratchy voice at times. the ead voals are a mix between Reliant K and Last Tuesday with a hint of Lil Scrappy-no just kidding. but they do sound like Reliant K and Last Tuesday combined. what i believe are the best lyrics I've ever heard in my life are in #5. I'd take a bullet for you you'd put a bullet to me.buy th cd to here the rest

5 out of 5 stars great debut album.......2005-10-22

this cd is great..i also saw them at the chance and one day i'm telling you they will become a huge band..they are great.

5 out of 5 stars Don P from Cordele.......2004-04-26

First of all, I wanna give a shout out to Track 1 (my group) and my cuz, Get Cool and UGB. Shawty, I gotta say that this album is hard for real. It's my favorite album for 2003, and I aint just saying that cuz I'm supporting my local artists. I love Field Mob, but I like this album better than both of their albums, and yall know they albums was tight. You gotta feel this album. It's worth the bread, on everything. I like alot of his other stuff too, like the song "I Can't Do It, and Gangsta Girl. You gotta get on this dude. Folk is ready. Not just as a rapper, but as a producer and all. I hear alot of his music through Get Cool and everything he puts out is raw. So I'm going to end this by saying You need to cop that. And last but not least. Big ups to Field Mob, Big Nod, Black Boi, Theripy, Hell Redd, AWALL, and everybody puttin it down from Albany to Cordele and beyond. And show love to my group (Track1) album, entitled "First Time Up, Last Time Down". Get that.

5 out of 5 stars E's doing the damn thang.......2004-01-14

E, I loved the album

I just want to say he [worked] hard on this album. Knowing him personally, I'm proud of him because it goes back to high school listening to him rap in class. It's one of those albums you can let ride from the beginning to the end. I'm just so happy for him and glad to know that he's from Albany,GA. I already know he's going to make it to the top, so I encourage him to just keep doing what he's doing and I'm a big fan!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Ole-E from Albany.......2004-01-11

ole e is one of my favorite artist!! there are plenty of reasons why i love him another thing is that he is from Albany!! i'm from Albany,Ga also. Ole-e has a tight album and he's not well known but if in my opinion he is better than some of these other well known rap artist!! i agree he should do a video for Livin' Comfortable, but Not Good.

5 out of 5 stars Damn Right........2003-11-10

Ole-E really needs to put up a Video for Living Comfortable cuz, man, he's got some beats that nobody else in the "Major" leagues could match. Somebody let em' know! This album is hot and their should be more people that know about em. One.

4 out of 5 stars Bany representing!!.......2003-08-28

Man!! This is a very strong debut album from a fellow who has been puttin it done for a minute in the underground. Ole E's album has some of the best original music going around today and that is a fact. It is a great mixture of street talk with a little soul/harmonizing in it(think Ja Rule but with better lyrics/topics). The album begins with the banging title track with it's ole school funk & thumping bassline. Next is one of my personal favorites "Gotcha cool about It" based on the life long art of creeping. The album is full of hits including "Get ya hustle on" featuring crew member Big Nod, "Juicy", "We Kuntry", and the list could go on. One of the hottest singles in the Bany is also found on this album, "Living Good, Not Comfortable". Man I am telling you if E would drop a video for this song, some of the majors would be definitely scouting this cat out!! One of the deepest songs is "My Children" were E pours out his heart to his kids & babymamas. That is some deep ish man let me tell ya. Overall it is an enjoyable album with very few flaws. The major flaws is unfortunately is has just a little too much singing for me. Also I would have liked to have seen a better range of topics. But I would defintely recommend this album to Field Mob heads & dirty south lovers...maybe West Coast music fans. My people in the East may not feel this as much. I also recommend Suthern Klick's "Small Tymin" were Ole E & Field Mob both made their debut. Until the next review...PEACE!!
