Brotha lynch's lynch by inch album review.......2006-05-19
This whole album is OFF DA HOOK. Every track on this album is raw and lynch is so tight, he doesn't need 50 million feat. to get his album sold out unlike other people. But even at that, he should retire with main stream or just tight people on his last album like eminem, 36 mafia, necro, snoop dogg, yukmouth, crooked i, etc... He should also be on shows like all of us, girlfriends, one on one, half and half, etc.. and have a music video at least on bet uncut when he retires.
Good.......2005-12-12
This is a great ablume from Lynch 1st release off his new label....Negative reviews just want the same albume over and over which is seasons yes it's his best but move on...The great thing about Lynch he has never left his roots so pick this up if ur a lynch fan.....The only thing I would like to hear Lynch bring back is more that g funk sound.....
Not bad.......2005-10-29
Ok I saw the one star reviews.. don't hate folks. it's not that bad at all.. sure it's not EBK4 or season of da siccness but it's still a damn good one. Other than the spiderman song, man he must've been hittin some sherm or something, that one is funny and seems way outta place on a Lynch CD, but hey.. that one song is probably the only reason I give this 3 stars instead of 4, other than that, this is a good CD, don't be skurred to picc it up, don't listen to the haters. Lynch is lynch, if you like most of his stuff, you'll like this one too. Disc 2 is pretty deep.
"Suicide Note" Review.......2005-04-20
Brotha Lynch Hung is back again with an album that offers two CD's worth of music plus a DVD. That's three discs worth of goodies for the price of one. Well, don't get too excited because it's not quite what it appears to be. The second disc is only six tracks (two of which are skits). The DVD has Lynch doing commentary over some concert footage. Problem is the camera work is poor and because Lynch is narrating over it, you can't hear them actually performing. So if you're planning on buying "Suicide Note" because of the bonus material, save your money.
The first disc, the full-length album, isn't bad at all. "Spydie's Birth" sounds like Lynch was trying to make a song for the Spider-Man movie soundtrack but it's pretty good. "Spitz Network" has a guest spot from Yukmouth where he just kills it. "Death Dance" has an eery beat sampled from John Carpenter's "The Fog" score. "Everywhere I Go" is probably one of my favorite tracks on the album with its laid-back chorus mixed with Lynch's smooth delivery. For the most part, "Suicide Note" is a collection of violent horrorcore-style rhymes mixed with dark beats but if you're expecting anything otherwise from Brotha Lynch Hung then maybe you should have gotten familiar with his work beforehand.
"Suicide Note" will not be a mainstream crossover success. It sticks to its formula. On that level, it does its job well but it would have been nice if Lynch mixed it up a little bit more with his subject matter. Nonetheless, if you're looking for that dark Lynch Hung music, "Suicide Note" isn't a bad way to spend your money.
