This is the most comprehensive collection of old school Miami Bass out on the market. There are many comps that claim to be the real deal but most fall short. This one's got the goods - from "Boom I Got Your Girlfriend" to the original "Booty Shake" to (We Like) The Cars With The Boom" - these are the jams that wrecked car speakers from coast to coast and also responsible for giving unsuspecting passing pedestrians massive heart attacks. If these jams won't make ya shake y'booty, nothing will. These tracks don't just shed light on a movement, they are the movement. Accept no substitute - THIS is BASS !!

Good, good album, probably my favorite.......2003-01-20

of Michael Coleman's 6 albums. Lots of remakes, remixed so well you don't care that you've heard them before, lots of originals, and some awesome backing. Very fun, very upbeat, a real booty shaking album, so properly titled. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a touch of the blues, the beat of funk, and the sound of professionalism.

Don't have the album but the free Amazon download. Solid. Figures that bass & drums say "enough" to the modern twaddle machine, wretched industrial extruded product.

It's not a matter of "reviving" JB or Motown, for they are immortal. It's a matter of whether you love the groove enough to do your homework and pay your dues. Then you may claim the right to be heard. An appeal made from this posture is appealing. Go Tripphorns go.

why aren't these guys famous yet? this album is sooo cool! a little reggae, a little dave matthews-like guitar riffin', some very sweet horn work and what do you get: not your ordinary pop!! so much better than most of the garbage on the radio. i dug it. there are a few weak tracks, buy there are those on most top ten albums. you'll love night groove, as the sun goes down and st rhythemus trane! sweet stuff!
