Hypocrites.......2006-08-25

The theme of this song has been done several times, but never by women so scantily-clad as these. On it's own, the song is catchy and the theme is certainly one I agree with. However, Destiny's Child should stick to catchy songs with themes that don't contradict themselves.

(And since Beyonce is the lead singer, I would like to point a specific finger at her and ask, "What about Naughty Girl?")

Nasty Girl.......2002-05-28

Single number five from the princesses of R&B. This is a R&B smash with biting lyrics. The album version can be found on their 2001 album release "Survivor". The Azza's Nu Soul Mix can be found on their recent remix compilation album "This Is The Remix" and the Maurice's Nu Soul Remix Radio Edit is the dance version that accompanies the video. All in all, three fine versions of one damn fine song. This is the German version of the CD single which also features the video. For die hard fans, an Australian version of the CD is also available. Tracklisting is identical except that in replacement of the enhanced video, track number four is the Big Boyz Remix of "Bootylicious".

This is awful. It doesn't even deserve the single star I was forced to give under this rating scale.

Rap is about spoken word, and in the absence of vocal melody, the performer should hope to have at least tone and/or diction - Nitty has neither, and in the parts of this track where he attempts to sing, you soon realise that he isn't up to scratch on that skill either.

This isn't art, not even entertainment. It merely serves as an ad for ostentatious bling-bling toting slack jaws without the merest slice of original thought.

Just another boring one-hit wonder rapper.........2004-10-26

Being 27 years old and having gone through three different musical eras (80's, 90's, and 00's)so far I have acquired the uncanny knack of hearing a one-hit wonder from a mile away, and this is one of them.

I find this track to be more boring than standing in line at the grocery store, and with its uncreative lyrics ("I just want a nasty girl...bla bla bla"), sampled riffs from an already repugnant one-hit wonder (Archies' "Sugar Sugar") combined with a rapper whose style is like every other rapper I have heard, it's no wonder I feel this way.

Therefore, I can say with some certainty that "Nitty" better be saving his rap dollars or else he'll be working at the local Wal-Mart. My advice is to save your money by avoiding this. But if you still feel the need to spend your money on something you'll get little or no use out of, give it to charity. That way someone can use it. Someone that isn't "Nitty", that is.

Also, the only reason this gets even one star is because that's the lowest rating there is on Amazon.

Nice cover of the Vanity 6 classic........2005-07-02

Not many people have tried to do a straight up cover of Vanity 6's 1982 radio banned classic "Nasty Girl" but dance diva Inaya Day tries. This version is the US cd single (the Australian one has different mixes) and features 4 very well done mixes. This version is sung as if Brenda Bennett was the lead singer of Vanity 6 instead of Denise Matthews. BIG vocals. The sticking point for me and if you know the original version -- is that Ms. Day never utters the line that got the song banned from radio and the cover of so many stories-- "I need 7 inches or more" . Why that was not included is beyond me. It seems that Vanity in 1982 had more guts or sleeze than Inaya Day did in 2005. The mixes range from flat out bass driven house to tribal house.

First time I heard this song was at The White Party 2005 in Palm Springs. Apparently, it was the first time most of the crowd had heard it. When everyone heard that first, "Uh, it's time to jam." ...GAYS WERE BOUNCING OFF THE CEILING!

2 of My favorites come together "Inaya Day, and Peter Rauhofer". I thought 4 sure I wrote a review but I guess I was so caught up in this NEW rendition of this CLASSIC song. Peter really knows how to turn a dance floor (an my courtyard poolside) into a huge party. You go miss nasty girl!!! The Peter Rauhofer Reconstrucion is so well put together!!! The PERFECT crowd pleaser! The Sleaze mix is great as well, more tribally!!!! So Phat! remix is good and the Full mix is Good as well! I HIGHLY recommend this! If I could give this 10 stars i would!!!

This song is horrible. This song is just "Nasty Boy" The Remix. This is just a sneaky way to make more money off of Biggie's old material. This song is just Verse one of Biggie's "Nasty Boy" from "Life After Death" a capella remixed with a new beat and remixed with still living musicians recording new material. Sorry but I am not buying. Just let Biggie RIP.

"Nasty girl" is just "Nasty Boy" The Remix or Part 2. Biggie's verse is th same first verse from "Nasty Boy". Then The others on this recorded new material and a new name and new instrumental was given and it was passed off as a new song. That is not right. It seems that Biggie has no unreleased material left and Puffy/Diddy still wants to make money off of him but Isn't he already? Doesn't Puffy/Diddy still make money off of sales from "Ready to die", "Life after death" and "Born again"? and What about his "Press play" and "No way out". It seems to me that Puffy/Diddy will do anything with Bibbie to make money. This song suck and so does the Whole "Biggie Duets" Album. Puffy/Diddy needs to just let Biggie RIP
