These guys are reppin for real. Roc Maci is sexy and the other don't look to bad either. really good material reminds of the 90's hip hop Nas, AZ, CNN and all the good stuff!

I slept on this for a while, my loss...If you are checking these cats off, all you need to know is that Pete Rock has like 4-5 beats on here...Large Professor is on here, and Mahogony produces some nice tracks as well...all in all, this is some quality stuff kids. peace.

The UN's UN Or U Out has me at a lost of words! I actually had to purchase this album after hearing Rock Maricano on the Think Differently CD and DJ Babu's Duck Season Volume 1.

The UN bless this CD from beggining to end with tight beats, awesome flows and delivery. The UN have their own style (beats and flows), not to compare these cats to WU Tang just cause both groups consist of a large crew of MC's. The UN hold their own down with no guest appearances except from Pete Rock and Large Professor on the boards for a few tracks.

The tracks that stand out for me are Mind Blowin' (a favorite), DOA, Avenue, What They Want (another favorite), Golden Grail, Ain't No Thing, Russian Hat Wear, Shakedown, The Art and Game Of Death.

The UN express nothing but pure rawness and excitment on the MIC. I love how their beats are so basic but hit so hard, it truely is Mind Blowin'! Each member in this group shine with long verses and limited choruses. Their lyrical content is top notch. These cats keep it Grimey and strickly for the STREETS. I agree with most of the reviews on this group, The UN is a must purchase.

Groups like this show you that real/true/grimey/fun hip-hop is still alive.

It's bad when something that at one time was so pure has become so corrupted. The culture of hip-hop has udergone this metamorphisis from an expression of self to an expression of dividends and radio airplay. I'm elated to hear some kids really putting it down. What's so ill about the U.N is that it is a supergroup (similar to the Wu) where each member can hold his own. East coast flow, but they are not restricted to the martial arts/kung fu imagery the Wu represents. The beats are on point---lyrics are illmatic status. ANYONE FROM NOW WHY or NEW JERUZ looking for the modern evolution of pure hip hop---check out there gods!!!!!!!!!!
