If the Game's G Unit-fueled debut--the most anticipated CD of early 2005--is supposed to be the Answer like Iverson, then what was the question? Well, when an emcee gets to rifle through 50 Cent's Rolodex to hand-pick top flight producers (Timbaland, Just Blaze, Kanye West) it's a can't miss scheme, right? In this case, uh-huh. "Westside Story" is Game's opportunity to remind crunk-come-lately's that his region is still rap relevant. On the Dr. Dre-produced "Higher" he snorts: "I got 'em (Impala's) in every color, yeah I'm a known stunna." Yep, he's rich now too, and drives whips that cost more than most make in a year. It doesn't even matter much that he's a B minus rhyme spitter, or that he spends way too much studio time name dropping. His real life 50 Cent-esque narratives (been shot, involvement in "subterranean" activities) makes cuts like the introspective, Havoc-hemmed "Don't Need Your Love" with Faith Evans that much more compelling. Boasting a half-dozen plus other sure-fire hit singles including the Kanye burner "Dreams," few albums can match up to The Documentary--the only Game in town. --Dalton Higgins

Customer Reviews:
Unexpectedly heartwarming.......2007-07-03
I have a set appointment each Saturday to tune in to NPR for another introduction to "This American Life". I am thrilled that I have access to old shows on cd. This is ideal for a long road trip and conversation.
mesmerized.......2007-02-12
I was fortunate to receive this CD the day before I had a 2 hour car ride ahead of me. I put in the CD and I have no memory of the trip, the traffic, or the route I took. I play the CD frequently, and I learn something new each time. Ira Glass - you are the best.
Radio Documentaries For Long Drives.......2007-02-01
I've listened to This American Life going on 8 years now either on NPR or on-line on the website. Great program, this is the 3rd compliation CD I have purchased and I must say that this was interesting especially the Stories of Fear. I am interested in how the human psyche handles fear given certain levels of stress introduced through everyday normal situations. Quite frankly it can be more than a little funny. The story that really clicked with me was On Hold No One Can Hear You Scream, one persons ordeal dealing with an unresponsive phone company. This is a great cd. Better than the last compliation cd for This American Life.
Not the best but worth a one time listen.......2007-01-20
This American Life is my favorite show of all time. I listen to it religiously. I didn't like this one. It's kind of depressing, whereas I have listened to the other CD's over and over again.
Regular Folks With Amazing and Hilarious Stories.......2007-01-05
Ira Glass has a job that everyone would love to do. He gets to interview people and learn about life lessons. I have listened to the NPR show on occassion but could never follow the program faithfully. If you are like me, then this will be your solution. In this 2-CD collection, there are stories about hopes and fears in a new light. I think that the 2nd CD is the most interesting of the 2 CDs.
The story that really made an impression was Julie Synder's dilemna with cell phone customer support (CD 2 Track 2). She really articulates her frustrations that we can all relate to. I worked as an software engineer and dealt with customer service issues on occasion. It's good to see how sometimes mis-communication and tempers often flair into after-the-fact humor. You definitely see the views from both sides which sheds some light on problems with customer support. But, the problems with a phone company just compounds to the humor with technology issues that you cannot imagine. Believe me, it's laughter after laughter but you soon realize that we can all relate to it.
Another touching but eerie story (CD 2 Track 3) is about a closeted son who takes care of his mother. It borders on the unreal as the interviewer learns about the ordeal with his father than suddenly changes things completely. As you listen, there are intimate details that you feel as if you are in the same room. This is one of the true experience that you lack with TV today. It just seems to be all about the shock factor and nothing about the fact that we are all human. It's wonderful that NPR still has shows out there for everyone to listen instead of being glued to the tube.

But seriously, folks, this was probably my first real "Punk" album.
I loved it because I was a rebellious teenager at the time, and this album was about as rebellious as it gets.
DeAd Kennedys.......2006-11-10
This is a band that actually tried to change things.Biafra ran for mayor, Cops came to their shows beacause of the smart lyrics the cops had to be on guard . No other punk band will ever compare. They just simply spoke their minds and didnt care.JELLO HAS THE SMARTEST LYRICS.aND THE CRAZY THING IS THEY CAME TRUE SOME OF HIS LYRICS HAVE COME TRUE.hE PREDICTED THE FUTURE.
Interesting, inventive and extremely important.......the debut from DK about 4 1/2 stars.......2006-07-29
DK burst on the scene in the late 70's with an innovative and extremely funny sound. Blending elements of punk, hardcore and rockabilly with lyrical content based souly on political awareness the Dead Kennedys were leading the charge on the movement of getting the word out. Lead by master lyricist Jello Biafra (who was a man on a mission), surf rock guitarist East Bay Ray, bass player extraordinaire Klaus Flouride and Ted on drums. The Dead Kennedys were embarking on a dangerous and untraveled road against all odds. This reissue of their debut is a perfect starting point for all those revolutionaries out there who truly want to listen to something important. Many great songs here. There are a few fillers on the album but those tracks don't take away from the intensity of 'Fresh Fruit'. As a bonus with this reissue you get a 55 minute documentary dvd which offers insight into the beginnings of DK. Early performances of the band which are out of this world, interviews and Jello's short run for Mayor of San Francisco. Incredible to say the least.

In Search of Angels (1994 TV Documentary).......2007-01-16
I received this cd from a friend when I was going through a rough time and the music was truly soothing. I have not seen the tv documentary is came from. I recently purchased the cd for another friend who is losing her mother to cancer. Grief aside, the cd is a beautiful one to listen to and I would recommend it highly
In Search of Angels.......2006-03-18
This CD is so beautiful, it will break your heart AND inspire you at the same time. It helped our family and friends through a very difficult time. The combination of instrumentals and voices were always reflected the theme. I recommend it highly.

I wore out the first copy I owned of this incredible CD. Actually, because I took it with me everywhere I went, it got too scratched on some of the cuts. (My bad!) Anyway - I couldn't live without it and so am on my second copy. Something about the voices and melodies that remove me from this mundane world of anxiety and concern. A must for anyone desiring a daily "reminder" of what's real. I know you'll enjoy it! by the way - If anyone should become aware of the availability of the sheet music for this CD, I would greatly appreciate the info. Thanks!

Customer Reviews:
My city gets the perfect music it deserves.......2004-06-18
This is perhaps the most-played (since 1999) CD in my collection, and the reason is simple: Brian Keane has written and compiled the most elegant and moving music that celebrates the greatest city in the world, my city, New York. Each original piece carries palpable gravity or soars with weightlessness, depending on the historic moment being illustrated.
"Hamilton's Theme/Hamilton Returns" captures the splendid pride all New Yorkers should feel for one of its greatest citizens, Alexander Hamilton.
"Transformation" is a haunting piece, filled with anticipation and caution: a perfect combination to express the changes that have occurred on this little island, sometimes subtly, sometimes not.
A deceptively simple piece, and most great pieces of music are, "Trouble" simmers with dread.
To capture some of the most terrible events that occurred in New York, like the Triangle disaster or the Draft Riots, "Dark History Theme" is a gut-wrenching composition of melancholy and tragedy that befits the catastrophes.
A counterpart to "Dark History Theme" is "Dark History Waltz". Although lighter in feel, "Dark History Waltz" is more heartbreaking in a way. The soaring strings toward the end of the piece sound like piercing human cries, and yet there is a beauty to it that would bring tears to the hardest heart.
Then, of course, is "City of Dreams". No other piece that I can think of best evokes the hopes, desires, and ambitions that people invest in Gotham, whether they are new to the town or have grown up here all their lives. But I think it is especially true for the former group: the newcomers came here to create better lives for themselves, better opportunities. In my imagination, this is the piece they might hear in their hearts the second they see the skyline, especially at night, for the first time.
As if these original pieces were not enough, Keane reaches into the vast catalog of songs about New York, and pulls out all the gems. Here's a sampling: "Take the A Train," "Rhapsody in Blue", and "Anything Goes". To me there is one glaring omission, and that is the tune that the documentary itself declares to be the most famous song about New York: "The Sidewalks of New York". (By the way, does anyone know who sang the beautiful rendition of this song on the documentary? I would love to get my hands on it!) But this oversight does not have any negative impact on my opinion of this wonderful CD. The liner notes and essays are marvelous, and the illustrations in the booklet are perfect. By all means, if you have ever been touched by the dreams and beauty of New York, buy this CD.
wonderfull!!!.......2004-02-10
however, brian keane and ric burns forgot one of the best songs from the documentary:"east side, west side".keanes orchestra does one of the finest renditions i have ever heard.
Runs hot and cold........2002-10-31
NEW YORK: A DOCUMENTARY FILM by Ric Burns and scored by Brian Keane contains some beautiful music. Some of Keane's main themes and melodies are full of melancholy and brooding. Others are uplifting and sweet. So why only three stars? Well, this soundtrack aspires to be everything for everyone. There is a healthy dose of oldies in here-thrown in for effect to trigger the audio/visual cues in those of us who watched the film. For my taste, the soundtrack would have been stronger had it aspired to one or the other; either all original compositions or period pieces. It loses some of its strength when the two are mixed together. I'm sure this is the exact reason others will cite for enjoying this soundtrack. Keep in mind that I'm not saying I don't enjoy it; I think it's quite good, just not what it could have been.
Hauntingly Lovely.......2001-12-13
I watched the PBS series for the socond time after September 11, and I found that just listening to "City of Dreams" brought tears to my eyes. The music captures the very essence of living in this wonderful city.
Historical New York Captured.......1999-12-18
If historical New York could be put to music any better, I haven't heard it. The music that you expect is here on the CD (i.e., Gershwin, Bernstein, Ellington, etc.), and Brian Keane's "City Of Dreams" is, as Caryn James reviewed in the New York Times, "piercingly beautiful".

Rare.......2007-01-08
I gave the music 5 stars for one reason - there is so little Native American music to choose from. I have a VHS called "Spirit" which has Native American influenced music and dance. I happen to love the CD and the VHS.
The CD is not the music one would hear at an Indian gathering; rather it is updated to suit the American culture and it brings to mind the history of North America and it's indigeinous people without being boring or trite.
I found it relaxing and emotional, well worth the investment. Now I'd like to see the movie.
The one that started it all . . ........2002-09-13
This is the CD that started my journey into contemporary Native American and Native American influenced music. The documentary was very well done and informative, it's worth watching if you ever get the chance. (Did you know there were 500 distinct nations here when the Europeans came?) The sound track, however stands on its own whether you've seen the show or not. By far my favorite of Peter Buffet's Native influenced works (and there's nothing wrong with any of them). You can almost see the history through the music. While carrying certain themes throughout you can hear and feel the difference between the missionary period and the military period, etc. To be honest I can't tell you which songs are "better" because I always listen to the entire CD from start to finish. It is a journey you should take as well.
The more you hear, the more you will like.......2000-01-26
If you like Spirit Dance, you will love this. Since his album "The Waiting" I got all of them. I bought this CD in 1996 and it still one of my favorites. It is the type of music you would buy again if you lost it.
awesome music.......1999-12-04
I havent heard it yet But anyone who is and wants to teach the world of culture through music,It should not be said to go bach to his old stuff ..... Sandy Grant p.s. I have seen "Spirit of the Dance" Video it is awesome and very moving
Spellbinding........1999-09-26
I learned of Peter Buffet when I saw Spirit, a Journey through Drums Dance and Song on PBS. Since then I have become a great fan of his. 500 Nations is a moving, soulful piece of work with songs that reach out and tug at your heartstrings. It has some wonderful artists on it and Chief Hawk Pope's vocals are the epitome of the Native American Voice. No doubt about this one folks...buy it!

"I got into Memphis." So begins Dr. King's "Excerpt from Speech the Day Before His Death" at the start of In Search of Freedom. His arresting, mellifluous voice, heard eerily removed, as if coming through a bullhorn, retains all the splendid vibrancy of timbre and his singular gift for oration. His message is urgent: the stalwart journey into civil rights, civil disobedience, and the path of nonviolence has taken him all the way to "the mountaintop." On this disc these spiritual ideals are perhaps best understood in the lengthy yet clearly flowing "Address to American Jewish Committee," wherein King provides the reasons and constitution of nonviolent protest and the fruits achieved from its labors. Decades after his precious life was taken, King's language dances, resonating the very sanctity of living along with his Atlanta congregation, who affirm and encourage with "yes, sirs" and "amens." --Paige La Grone
Customer Reviews:
Sad so many reviewers missed the point!.......2006-01-13
My goodness, so much complaining! I originally found this collection on cassette for less than five bucks and would have paid much more for this treasure. Think of it as "the portable King", and be grateful that you can be fully enlightened even by fragments heard between getting gas and buying groceries! I'm afraid it's easy to get jaded in this ironically sound-byte driven era of MP3s &"more for less money" and miss the point -- this man of God offered more "meat" in 30 seconds than most people do now with 30 minutes of blather. Especially in a time when many don't know of King's name as more than cause for a day off of work or school, a gathering of these "nuggets" might just begin to get their attention, so they can then seek more. Don't feel ripped off because you didn't get the minimum number of minutes of his "melifluous tones" for your money, but rather marvel at how much heart he packed into every word and give glory to the God the man served!
Dissapointment.......2005-03-04
Even at $6.99 this CD is over priced. With the exception of "Address to the American Jewish Committee" and Dr. King's Entrance into Civil Rights Movement", all that is provided are very minimal sound bites. The "I have a Dream Speech" only includes the final culmination of his address. In order to appreciate Dr. King as an orator, his speeches must be heard from the absolute beginning to the end. What made the I have a Dream Speech so great was the way that Dr. King located his groove and began to flow into his spiritual roots. I was greatly disappointed by this collection.
Don't do it.......2004-03-19
Very little substance. You can't get "into" the speeches because the excerpts are more like sound bites. Look for a better deal.
Missing the learning factor but it's still KING! (3.5 stars).......2003-01-21
I was very excited to get this CD home but to my disappointment, some of the tracks were just the very famous MLK. Jr. quote or key on-liners taken out of context from speeches that we really need to know more about. We need to hear more of these speeches just to understand the significance and the strength of King's words and the content of which they came from.
However, although most of these speeches are abruptions, King's voice alone does wonders for the soul. At least the "I Have A Dream Speach" is given to us in it's entirity.
Not one of the better collections.......2001-06-06
This is not one of the better collections of Dr. King's speeches, as these are minor excerpts that are far too short. I would recommed "The Great March To Freedom" (1963 Detroit speech, full of barbed humor and excellent points), "The Great matrch on Washington" (entire Dream Speech), "Free At Last" (Mountaintop Speech) and best of all, the "A Call To Conscience" CDs that have all of the above and then some. Also, the breif but powerful Birmingham excerpt from "Sing For Freedom."

how the west was lost.......2007-06-27
I have wanted this recording ever since i saw the series on the BBC TELEVISION. It is an excellent cd which gives the feeling of joy and sadness that the native american indians experienced. IT is both spiritual and uplifting as well and a wonderful joy to listen to
For deep thinkers.......2006-11-03
It was my father who discovered this CD: I have bought it because it really helps to think of indians of America. Some pieces are fantastic. One of them has become my mobile phone melody
Excellent blend of 20th century and Native American sounds.......2006-03-24
This CD is an excellent meta-physical or meditating synthesis of sound. It combines both 20th century and Native American sounds that together provide a truly spiritual experiance.
A true gift for music.......2000-12-15
I really can't express it any other way. The talents of Peter Kater and R. Carlos Nakai are really amazing. I have many CD's from Kater and Nakai, and this CD is one of the best. Its emotional involvement and passion are present when you totally involve yourself into the music. The range of musical instruments, and the fire of the Native American spirit make this a CD that will be greatly admired.
How The West Was Lost.......2000-04-23
This is a beautiful piece of work. It really captures the feeling of the Native Americans. I listen to this all the time. It is very relaxing and soothing to listen to. Definitely a masterpiece and will be a classic score.

Hail! Hail! Rock 'N' Roll .......2007-04-29
I have always lived in the St. Louis, Mo. area and am old enough to have seen Chuck Berry when he started with the Johnny Johnston Trio at the Cosmopolitan Club in E. St. Louis, Ill. I knew then he was going to be great. The rest is history so I will fast forward to Chuck's 60th Birthday Part Fest at the lengendary, ornate Fox Theatre in St. Louis, Mo.I can listen to Chuck sing his well known songs in any format but this cd has a great sound mainly due to the influence of Keith Richards putting together a tight band and never forgetting to include the late great Johnny Johnston and his awesome piano. Chuck has the St. Louis audience into from the get go but what I really dug was that he had Eric Clapton do "Wee Wee Hours," (awesome) the fantastic and beautiful Linda Ronstadt cookin on "Back In The U.S.A." - Linda brought the house down (I was lucky to be there) and the best of all in my opinion was when Etta James sang "Rock-n-Roll Music" - oh my goodness did she really "get down" with it....that to me was the highlight of the night.Robert Cray did a nice job on "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" but it paled in comparison with the original. Julian Lennon was really good on "Johnny B. Goode." You could tell he really enjoyed singing it that night but the best part was that Chuck also sang some and then harmonized with Julian - nice! Chuck had the audience really plugged in on "Sweet Little Sixteen," "Little Queenie" and "Roll Over Beethoven." The place was litteraly going nuts and that is captured on this cd. Not too many live Chuck Berry cds out there and none that are this well put together. Buy this sucker. A nice little touch is when Chuck sings "I'm Through With Love." As a voice says in the back ground "you have a great sound for a rock-n-roll singer, you should have been a jazz singer." Chuck Berry was instrumental in getting Black music into the White culture (with all due respect to Little Richard and the great Chicago Blues singers). This is a must cd for the serious Chuck Berry fan unless you want to buy the DVD. I am glad they didn't screw this compilation up by adding "My Ding-a-ling." This was just good old hard core Chuck Berry Rock-n-Roll at it's best.
Kick Out The Jams.......2007-02-13
Keith Richards was nearly a Stone alone at the celebrations of Chuck Berry's 60th birthday.
The concerts were held in the Fox Theatre - St. Louis, Missouri - on October 6, 1986, and Berry Park - Wentzville - on October 16. The 13 songs from the shows clock in at slightly over 39 minutes.
A documentary chronicled the oftentimes fractious relationship between Richards - who put together the band & produced the CD - and Berry, which found the latter threatening several times on camera to abandon the project.
The years leading to the shows found Berry mostly backed by local musicians who had no practice time before taking the stage. That is one of the reasons why Richards stepped in and brought together an all-star band for the event, which included Johnnie Johnson, who was a long-time pianist with Berry.
The other band members are Richards (guitar), Chuck Leavell (piano), Bobby Keys (sax), Joey Sampinato (bass), Steve Jordan (drums) and Ingrid Berry (vocals). The guests made the shows very special, as the legendary Etta James brought the house down on Rock And Roll Music. Linda Ronstadt (Back In The USA) and Julian Lennon (Johnny B. Goode) also delivered outstanding vocal performances.
Eric Clapton (guitar, vocals) is drenched in the blues on Wee Wee Hours, one of the first tracks Berry recorded for Chess Records - and the B-side to his first hit, Maybellene. But it's Robert Cray (guitar, vocals) on Brown-Eyed Handsome Man that remains my favorite cut.
Other songs that appear on the CD include Around And Around - the Rolling Stones have a great cover of it on Love You Live - Maybellene and Memphis, Tennessee.
Berry is rock-n-roll and these performances demonstrate the reason why.
Great, simply great........2006-11-08
This documentary give you an insite into the man and his music. His music in on many CD's but this video tells a lot about the man. Very, very interesting.
Too Bad This Video is Out of Print.......2005-07-07
A friend wanted a copy of this video and I was surprised to see Hail! Hail! Rock 'N' Roll was out of print. Hard to believe since Chuck is the godfather of rock. I bought the VHS in the early 90's and it included all the star interviews and rehearsals at Chuck's place. Total running time is 2 hrs. 1 min. This is a great video, especially the interviews and rehearsal sessions. Bluesbro, as any musician knows, you can't hog the spotlight through a whole show. The sax player you referred to that soloed that you would have rather seen Chuck solo in his place is none other than Bobby Keys, tenor sax player of the Rolling Stones since '69. I play tenor sax in 3 bands, have been playing sax since '69, and Bobby Keys has been my greatest influence. I had to write this because I hate to see Bobby Keys, one of the greatest modern rock and roll horn players, referred to as "sax player".
Keith Richards is God.......2003-01-17
The review by 'Bluesbro' is rubish! Keith Richards is awesome on this video, perfecting the guitar playing that Chuck Berry started in the fifties. For those that have not seen the full movie, Chuck berry does not show Keith how to play Carol, Keith's own version is like dynamite. The video includes Wee Wee hours with Clapton, the best I'v heard of Clapton. Well that could just be something to do with Mr Richards on Rhythm!!

An Early Vangelis Classic........2007-04-15
Vangelis's 1973 soundtrack album for the French wildlife documentary "L'Apocalypse Des Animaux" has become one of the best-known known works of his early career.
While the music was released in 1973, the recording of it actually dates back to 1970. Although there isn't a list of instruments used in the liner notes, the sounds of electric and acoustic piano, Hammond organ, Mellotron, clavinet, harmonium and various percussion as well as trumpet and acoustic guitar can be heard.
The 35 minutes of music can be viewed as a complete whole because there is a certain underlining theme and mood that can be felt throughout the entire album from beginning to end.
The short title track is based on an African style rhythm in 5/4 time and features a dramatic choral style build-up in the middle. This is followed by the melancholy "La Petite Fille De La Mer" which is probably the best known piece off the entire album. A somber electric piano melody is backed by organ and mellotron strings as well as acoustic guitar arpeggios. "Le Singe Bleu" sounds almost like an outtake from Miles Davis's "In A Silent Way" as it is a duet between trumpet and electric piano. There are no credits as to who is playing what in the CD cover and it could be very possible that Vangelis is playing both parts himself. Regardless of who's doing what, this piece is quite a relaxing slice of mood-jazz music that Vangelis really hasn't tackled since. The Spanish-tinged "La Mort Du Loup" follows with its Rodrigo "Aranjuez"-inspired melodies and flamenco-esque acoustic guitar behind a backdrop of lush keyboard sounds. The 1-minute "L'ours Musicien" is a brief jingle with a child-like electric piano melody as well as what sounds like school band percussion and harmonium. This is followed by the epic "Creation Du Monde" which is a 10-minute excursion into atmospheric keyboard textures. The grandiose theme as well as the ambient nature of this piece give a sign of things to come for both Vangelis as well as electronic music in general. Some of Brian Eno's later ambient works would adopt a similar style to this piece. The closing piece "La Mer Recommencee" is similar to the previous piece but adds percussion and cymbal rolls to the echo ethereal keyboard sounds.
Even after its release some 35 years later, "L'Apocalypse Des Animaux" is still one of Vangelis's finest early works. As technology would later advance, so would Vangelis's music. However, his trademark style was already apparent at this early stage in 1970-73. This is music that was and still is way ahead of its time and while some of the keyboard sounds may seem a bit outdated, it is still quite a beautiful album to listen to.

Excellent Start for Collecting Vangelis' Early Work !.......2004-08-24
L'Apocalypse Des Animaux is Vangelis' masterpiece recording for a 1973 French ecological/wildlife film documentary by director Henry Rossif. It is light years ahead of it's time for being over 30 years old and has aged tremendously well!...Only clocking in at a little over 35 minutes, it is one of the most compelling and captivating soundtracks I have ever heard (and I have heard tons over the years by various artists in various genres)! Much of this musical tapestry is somber, moody, melancholy and atmospheric in nature; The track Le Singe Bleu is a primary example of this with it's beautiful horn/trumpet arrangement done in an almost bluesy-soft jazz-like manner. I call this soundtrack the "soundtrack for the electronic blues"...This particular track is a precursor to another track called Blade Runner Blues that would be recorded 10 years later for the Harrison Ford Sci-Fi film-noir Blade Runner. The music of L'Apocalypse Des Animaux will take you far away into a journey of the mind's eye and will create some striking mental visuals and evoke feelings of mystery and mood ! This is an excellent start for anyone seeking to compile their collection of Vangelis' projects. It makes one wonder about the fascinating mindset this artist must have been in to create something so ethereal and advanced. While Vangelis is known the world over as the Godfather of New Age or movie-soundtrack electronica, you will hear no cold meaningless blips and outdated synth work. Some of it's structure is almost classical in nature and global/world music sense (particularly the opening track /title track with it's African rhythms). There is much diversity to be enjoyed on this soundtrack. On the downside, when the soundtrack is over it leaves you wanting more---and there probably is a lot more music from the film or score that is not present in this edition or release...
FLYING AWAY WITH IT..........2004-05-25
This albumn is an unique masterpiece in the music history. It has beautiful sounds and amazing feeligs. Everytime it rains I listen to this album and it takes me to a place far away. If you are a music lover or you just like melancholic tunes please dont pass it by...
In it's own right.......2004-03-05
This album is beautiful and haunting but let's get something VERY straight, you CANNOT compare Vangelis to Klaus Schulze. Just because they are both electronic musicians doesn't mean they are similiar. You have to understand that Vangelis hits a generalized deep sentimental emotion. Klaus Schulze is more of an artist who explores sounds and DEFINITLY does not fit into the new age genre as Vangelis and (new)Tangerine Dream do. Vangelis unfortunately has become commercialized, though his early work with progressive hints was great ie.. Aphrodite's Child.
